Had 3 hospital admissions for hyperemesis so far, I am 11 weeks.
Havent kept any food down at all in 5 days now, but keeping more fluids down.
Still vomiting excessively.
Called 111 the other day and they sent paramedics round, who pinched the back of my hand as a dehydration test and told me I was fine, that I could stay at home.
I've never felt this weak in my life.barely have the energy to crawl out of bed and go to the loo. Going up and down stairs takes it out of me completely.
So would I be unreasonable for calling 111 back and asking for a hospital admission? I think I need serious fluids and anti sickness via IV as it's just not staying in me orally.
YABU- dont call, stay at home, see if it improves
YANBU- call and ask for admission
