Am I being unreasonable by saying prawn cocktail crisps are just the best because even if they’re not you’re absolute favourite they’ve got to be your second or third favourite. So if there was a scoring system I recon they’d come out #1 👍😁

I love prawn cocktail, but my favourites are pickled onion, tomato ketchup and worcester sauce! Also, salt & vinegar when they're really strong, cheese & onion, beef & onion......crisps are my favourite thing, my dessert island food!

Not technically crisps but I must put in a word for fish & chips! And even more so, the long defunct Burtons Smax. I would love to taste Smax again - and go straight back to 1983!

I love all crisps. Prawn cocktail crisps are my favourite and don’t last very long in my company Blush
I do love Scampi flavoured fries 🤤

Listen OP, your opinion is yours, and you can do whatever you want inside your own home, but Prawn Cocktail is generally not a particularly popular flavour. Certainly not a top 3 for most people. The fact that you genuinely thought it was is worrying. What kind of people are you hanging around with??

One of my most vivid childhood memories (70’s) is a lady following my friends and I out playing (alone in a group of under 10s, I was probably 7, my brother was 5, we’d been playing out for hours..) trying to ask us questions about crisps, specifically prawn cocktail!

Turned out she was working for a market research company & had been tasked with approaching young children to do so - unfortunately it coincided with a massive ‘don’t talk to strangers’ campaign (quite rightly), she was so desperate to get kids to speak to her she chased after us down alleyways, but if we’d stopped running I think we’d have confirmed prawn cocktail we’re the best!

mini cheddars, followed by quavers,then hula hoops and pickled onion monster munch.
My all time faves were pizza flavoured Discos and cheese Hula Hoops.For pure nostalgia wanted to mention the plain crisps with the salt sachet you used to add in yourself-it was awesome.

Salt and vinegar are the best - walkers but sometimes I get a urge for golden wonder which are hard to come by

I also love monster munch pickled onion, flaming hot and tangy toms

Cheetoes crunchy hot ones are lovely too 😋

I can’t relate to this at all

I am crisped out Shock

Very strange phenomenon just a few weeks ago I was eating more than my fair share being creative in how I ate them (sandwich, dipped in salad cream, sprinkled with lemon juice) and prawn and cocktail were a favourite for a day or two then suddenly went off crips even my usual favourite cheese and onion

One wonders when I shall return back to being me

I hate Walkers Salt and Vinegar, Chicken and Bacon.

Bacon is my favourite, either Walkers or Frazzles. After that cheese curls and then cheese and onion. I don't like prawn cocktail at all.

I realise now I have a strong bacon, cheese & onion type preference. Thanks OP, you’ve made me face my vices and understand them much more. Definitely no prawns though!

They're so sweet! I like them if I'm in the mood, but generally if I'm reaching for crisps it's because I'm craving something savoury.
