Am I being unreasonable by saying prawn cocktail crisps are just the best because even if they’re not you’re absolute favourite they’ve got to be your second or third favourite. So if there was a scoring system I recon they’d come out #1 👍😁

YANBU because at least you didn't call prawn cocktail crisps "food of the Gods"

Oh I love prawn cocktail.

I love Worcester sauce the most, followed by bacon rashers and then spicy nick nacks.

Prawn cocktail are in 4th place, for me, I’m afraid.

Yeah prawn cocktail is the best, cant get them where I am though.

It definitely has to be peperoni first,
then plain salted,
then sour cream / onions.

If it has to be out of the water I'd prefer Krupuk

S&V are my default probably-bearable crisps.

Prawn cocktail are in the same bracket as those roast chicken ones - horrible.

The only exception are Skips.

I like Smiths crisps. Walkers are very greasy.

However those Max crisps in some god awful, tongue inflaming, non flavour are the best. I’m not allowed crisps so the less like the crisp and the more like a big carb bag of artificial wrongness the better.

Ew no I hate prawn cocktail. The best are: salt and black pepper kettle chips, tyrrels vegetable crisps, walkers salt and vinegar (cheaper versions are acceptable, sometimes preferable, posher brands are insufficiently astringent). I also quite like those cheap extruded snacks that look like pasta twists/ fusili, the salt and vinegar ones. And Squares. And cool Original and chilli heatwave doritos. Basically anything except meaty, cheesy (including sour cream and onion pringles ) or prawn flavoured.

Prawn Cocktail are the best I agree OP. I do like S&V and C&O too. My absolute faves are the Torres Truffle ones but they’re £4 a bag and the Spanish Deli I get them from is closed so it’s good old Walkers for now.

Mini Cheddars are a good one too, and the odd Wotsits here and there and maybe some Cheese Doritos.

They smell and taste vile.

If you want strong astringent salt and vinegar (or aggressively salty 'plain') then unless they've toned them down nowadays it'd be Hula Hoops. Good crunch too.

I consider myself a crisp connoisseur there are very few flavours I wouldn't eat, but if I had to rank them, prawn cocktail would probably come in at about no. 14
I don't actively dislike it, but there are SO many better flavours out there! Lamb and mint, Thai sweet chilli, steak, cheese and onion, spring onion, Smokey bacon, heck even ready salted!! I'd eat prawn cocktail if there was literally no other choice....

Oh god, I couldn't even make a list cos I love so many including the not so fancy ones like the Asda variety pack (onion rings, salt/vinegar sticks and bacon rashers).

I'd rather have crisps than chocolate or sweets personally!

If there’s no other option then maybe. Marmite crisps first choice, but cheese and onion with a cheese and onion sandwich. Bliss.

How about brannigans roast beef and mustard, has anyone tried them? They're amazing!!

I've a severe crisp addiction and they're the only type I won't eat. Does anyone else remember hedgehog crisps?
