Celebrities making their children famous

Just seen the advert of Chris Evans for Virgin Radio and it’s gives me the rage. His son is now relatively famous at an age when he has no real understanding of what that means. I think this is irresponsible parenting especially coming from someone who has been honest about the struggles that being famous can bring.
Various other celebrities have done the same thing and it ends up with their children being famous for who their parents are and it hasn’t always gone well.

I haven’t seen or heard the advert but I stopped listening to Chris Evans show because I was fed up of hearing his son every 2nd day
This. I'm not surprised hes done this at Virgin. He was constantly putting that kid on the radio at Radio 2. Tbh I'd give my kid a leg up, but they get that through an expensive education anyway. Noah is what, 10? How do they know what he wants to do? Yet hes been being promoted on the radio since he was a toddler.

The worst for this was Will Smith and Jade Pinkett whose children were thrust into the spotlight at very young ages and now people can't stand them. I honestly don't understand the thought process. "My fans love ME so they'll definitely love my kids!" is that it? Because they definitely don't. I feel sorry for those two, any career they decide upon now will be twice as hard for them because everyone thinks they're ridiculous.

I think that's down to the mothers. Obviously Katie Price isn't going to object to Princess being plastered all over the press but his latest wife doesnt want her kids plastered all over the press, although she seems happy to appear with Katie's kids!

My local butcher seems to always have his son working alongside him every school holiday and all weekends. He’s teaching him the different parts of meat, cutting etc his DD works at the till part-time. The gardener’s at it as well, always dragging along his DS. I’ve observed him several times showing him what level to cut the grass down to depending on growth, lots of other bits and bobs. The DS told me he’ll soon be getting his own customers and looking forward to that.

How do you know they don't have any talent or cultivate and learning. You have no idea what they do behind closed doors. Isn't Brooklyn a keen photographer? Perhaps he is trying to cultivate that talent.

I always thought that when watching the Ozzy Osborne reality show back in 2002. Kelly couldn't stand Christina Aguilera and had no conception of what a leg up she and her Siblings were given.

In Brooklyn’s case, his family pulled strings to get him into an elite art school, one of the best places in the world to study photography. Anyone with a genuine interest or passion for photography would have overwhelmed with joy at such an incredible opportunity.

Brooklyn dropped out, after reportedly being a lazy student who kept missing classes. He clearly was not interested in developing his photography skills, and it’s shameful that such an incredible opportunity was given to someone so ungrateful who wasted it. That place could have gone to someone who would have really worked hard and benefited from it.

Brooklyn made a deliberate choice to use his family connections to jobs he was obviously not remotely qualified for (his book of photography shows that he is lacking in even the most basic skills) rather than take advantage of the training opportunities that were open to him. If he really cared about photography he would have stayed in art school, and everyone would have applauded him for that.

Yes Gordon Ramsay is trying to do this with his daughter Matilda - so tedious, I'd have more respect if he didn't do this.

Not really it's down to their Mums though. Katie price as we know will and does sell.any aspect of her life, including her children's privacy. Peters wife Emily doesnt want her children in the public eye so their faces are never shown. Junior & Princess have had their entire lives played out on camera & Princess seems to enjoy performing
