I hate my boobs. They were a bit shit anyway as I lost a lot of weight in my 20s but since breast feeding for 2 years I really don’t like them.
They are ‘okayish’ but a bit deflated when I’m upright but as soon as I lean down they are awful. I’ve been keeping my bra on with new partners as I’d rather they weren’t swinging everywhere. Blush

I can’t really afford to do anything about them tbh so it’s a pipe dream at the moment, but is it worth having surgery for the confidence boost? Would you? Have you? Is the maintenance a lot of hassle?

And out of interest, what is the normal cost of lifts and/or implants and it’s actually really hard to find firmer prices without getting a quote first?

Im neutral on cosmetic surgery in general. I have had a breast lift (lollipop) and augmentation a few years back because mine increased 7 cup sizes in pregnancy with the weight I gained and then deflated. They did similar in every pregnancy. I became really preoccupied with how deformed I felt they looked. Shrivelled like raisins and flopping like empty bags of skin. It really upset me. I lost loads of excess weight, but it felt like it was reconstructive surgery rather than just cosmetic, because I never minded them being small, but they just looked wrecked and even bras didnt fit properly.
Once id had my last baby and finished breastfeeding, I got sterilised and I got my breasts 'fixed'. I think its been really positive for me, as now I just hardly think about them at all. Theyre a moderate natural looking size. They still sag a bit, but not too bad. I have never before or since wanted any other cosmetic surgery. Its just one thing I couldnt get past.

OP, when did you stop Breastfeeding? It took my boobs two years to bounce back. Honestly I was shocked when they finally did. Apparently the tissue does rejuvenate...

I'm not completely against cosmetic surgery of any kind, for example a friend of mine had a nose job because she'd never been happy with the shape/size of her nose and had been bullies about it. I don't think anyone should ever feel bullied or pressurised into changing themselves but in this case it was just the nose and that was it and it has given her more confidence.

However, my mum had a boob job for the same reasons you are considering it and it really hasn't improved her life or confidence in any way, shortly afterwards she was diagnosed with parkinsons and doesn't give much of a crap about how her boobs look these days. She also suffered a lot of pain with her implants for months afterwards as her implants got put in underneath her muscles apparently.

That's the reason I'd never consider it really, having a perfect body or appearance doesn't make your life any better, why put yourself through the potential dangers and pain?

My boobs didn’t develop as a teen so I had a boob job at 18. Nothing big - 200ml which now days is considered so small some companies don’t offer them. 5-6 surgeries later - lots of pain and nerve damage. It’s a regret.

I had really odd lopsided boobs that I struggled with through my terms and twenties. After breastfeeding adventures they were even worse so I had them done about 5 years ago. Very little down time, never had any issues with them and no regrets. Unfortunately it gave me a taste for surgery so I then had a tummy tuck which wasn't even in the same league recovery wise. Horrendous operation that I wish I hadn't bothered with and I found out later the surgeon was unqualified to perform the surgery.
No surgery is without risk but I would say you really need to do your research. Join the botched groups on facebooks and if the surgeon has even one bad case don't go with them. Ones I know in the uk to steer clear of are transform and redrose desire.

Boob jobs are a fairly straightforward surgery. Tummy tucks and bbls are much more risky.

I had a boob job last July as I had tuberous breasts. I went with an oncoplastic reconstructive surgeon who rebuilds breasts after procedures such as mastectomies. No regrets, I only wish I went bigger but I went with what the surgeon advised would be appropriate for my body. I was driving again with in the week and have had no issues since. I can actually wear what I want now and don't have to analyse the neckline on clothes before I buy them. Has given me a new lease of life.

My best friend had a boob job late last year and she is SO happy with it, and they look amazing.

I used to have great boobs but since breastfeeding one is much bigger than the other and the nipples point in funny directions. I would definitely consider having a boob job when I finish having kids so I can make them look more like they were pre-babies.

Had a reduction and lift last year at 60+! Should have done it decades ago.

Oh and I've also had lip fillers. Cosmetic surgery doesn't have to look fake if you research people who use the right techniques.
