Can you bake without eggs?? Any ideas? Pics? Recipes?

DD (7) had an egg allergy and thinking it would be lovely doing some baking, however what / can I make eggless.. wasn't Parkin egg free?

Husband thinks it's a no go, but I'm thinking we can xx

My DS has an egg allergy. He’s 4 so our baking is pretty basic, but lots of egg free recipes available online

We usually do American style pancakes on a weekend and choc chip cookies are easy. My mil is an expert baker and she usually does shortbread or scones as they are egg free anyway

I’ve been making vegan banana loaf which is lovely, and I’m no baker.

We used to make oat cakes with honey that didn’t involve eggs.

Eggs are classed as non-veg in India so most Indian cake recipies don’t contain them. Just google them there are loads. You can use anything from chickpea water to yoghurt to bicarb as a substitute depending on what the substitute is for.

I made these cardamom buns over the weekend and they're delicious. The recipe suggests using an egg wash for glazing, but you could use milk, oil, or nothing.

I think they'd work well with cinnamon instead of cardamom too.
