Oh fk it, I'm now in the wardrobe with tin cost hangers. I can defend myself.

When my OCD was particularly bad during my mental breakdown, I became incredibly experienced in fighting off alien invasion. I always found tapping wooden surfaces in very precise patterns that grow faster and more complex worked wonders at keeping them at bay.

However if you mess up even once you will end the world, so do take care if you choose this approach. Alas my mental health is far too improved for me to be able to offer assistance this time round. You're on your own I'm afraid Wink

TheStuffWasBad · 19/04/2020 06:57

No no no! Did nobody else see the news item that said tin foil hats are no good, because they don't completely encase the head, and so actuality magnify the power rather than block it?

Really bad advice on this thread op. Do your own research!

Tezza1 · 19/04/2020 07:01

But Roswell At least if they're Roswell grey aliens, you'll be able to spot them coming at a distance.

Perhaps just a fascinator then ? Would a feather be dangerous, not sure if it would act as an antenna?

I hope tapping on my phone screen is not dangerous, the whole civilisation could be even more doomed if that's the case.

Phone screens are fine, it has to be wooden surfaces. Please do your research before you take up the fight. I'm disappointed the current generation of alien fighters don't seem to understand the basics. This doesn't bode well for humanity does it?

notimagain · 19/04/2020 07:11

Now that air traffic has thinned out people are noticing all sorts of things up there that they haven't noticed before..

And looking on the bright side - at least it's not a helicopter..

LOL! There are no aliens, if anything, WE are aliens, lol! If the government ever stages a UFO invasion, know this, it is FAKE.

hyacinthbouquetsbucket · 19/04/2020 07:15

I'm am very relieved it's not a helicopter, those spinning roof racks make it more likely aliens will find me, especially the ones with two spinners. Can't they stick to detecting people with no tv license or whatever they normally do instead of putting me at risk.

Perhaps just a fascinator then ?

I think that could work.

I mean, not to stop the aliens, zoning into your thoughts, but a tin foil fascinator could be an excellent fashion choice.

TheStuffWasBad · 19/04/2020 07:35

Something like this, maybe?

hyacinthbouquetsbucket · 19/04/2020 07:49

Perfect, I'll make one today, it can be the little hyacinths art lesson. They are never to young to start learning about alien protection methods.
I'm going to decorate it with this badge to try and throw them off the idea that I'm human.

Don't worry about aliens. The UK has more CCTV than any other country (or perhaps the Chinese exceed us now) and the proposed apps for those who choose to use a mobile when they go out (I usually leave mine at home) and hopefully choose rather than be forced to use one for CV tracking may be something to avoid.

hyacinthbouquetsbucket · 19/04/2020 08:19

Aliens are invisible on cctv...

JudyCoolibar · 19/04/2020 08:22

The problem with tin foil hats is that the alien rays can slip in underneath them. You really need to wrap tin foil all around your head and face.

And if you put an extra layer of face cream on, plus conditioner on your hair, under the foil, you get a nice deep moisturising treatment as a bonus. Win win.

Don’t think just a hat will do it. Something like this images.app.goo.gl/Qx6dBmNwHvvfiRuy9 might though
