I realize people have lost family members and to most this is just a pet so I apologize and don't mean to cause offence.
Thursday I had to have my much loved 15 yr old cat put to sleep. She fell into.breathing difficulties a week ago pills didn't work and she had a tumour.
Yesterday I felt drained exhausted and very tearful. She used to sleep on my bed so she woke me up and was my company when I had days off.as I work unsociable hours. She was the last thing I saw at night when I get home at 1030.
When we left home and was a great comfort.to me.Dd loved her to bits.
When df died a few years ago I'm certain she knew.I was.depressed.I didn't cry much but she purred and became quite.clingy.
My dh isn't always nice.to me so her company became something positive.
I feel empty my room looks empty without her.I do have other smaller pets but it isn't her.
I have had bouts.of anxiety and found her energetic presence calming.Anyone else felt like this about their pet?

How do I get MNHQ to edit the title?

We've edited it for you now, whatisforteamum.

So sorry for the loss of your dear cat, especially at such a difficult time.

Sending good wishes. Flowers
