What you are all doing today? It seems so quiet on here. I’m bored, so let me pinch your ideas for lockdown fun.

My son is swinging in his little hammock on the balcony, my boyfriend is asleep on me on the couch so I’m trapped, not that I’m complaining.

I popped out to check the post in our office, drove for first time in weeks it felt so weird! Passed a police roadblock (didn’t pull me over) I felt ok until I saw that, suddenly feel very miserable and trapped

Just done a load of ironing, Mumsnet service wash on in the background. Going to sort out summer clothes from storage/wrong end of wardrobe, & hoping for a walk with DS later this afternoon if I can wrench him away from the x box it's beautiful but chilly outside here

I am working in my home office - well, obviously I am not, I am on MN and drinking a coffee, but I should be. DH sitting next to me , also "working" (on FB). DS2 in front room playing Fortnite. DS1 watching him and heckling.

I made a cooked breakfast and then walked the dog for an hour. Dd is in the bath and ds is in his room. I am enjoying the peace and quiet. No plans to do anything much today tbh.

DH is at work, DS is on his laptop.

On my lunch while working from home. Me and DH just had a very pleasant half an hour together before he goes to work 😁 hung the washing out, kettles boiling, debating whether to do a bit of weeding out back on the last of my break. Probably won’t though. All day tomorrow for that!

I've covered some cushions and a lampshade.

Had a row with DH because my car battery was flat as I havent started it in a month. Lucky I bought some jump leads ages ago where as he has NONE.

We are now speaking again. I think deep down he is impressed I had jump leads. I then drove my car down the motorway a junction and back. Following a sermon on starting cars, I've told him to shut his gob and make me a coffee.

I'm now watching Classic Emmerdale.

I was up early and at my desk at 6 am so have now finished my day's work. DH now starts his working day and I take over the childcare. Much easier in the holidays than during school time. Got to tidy up lunch, put a load of washing on then I'm going to do some yoga before making tea. Kids all on screens, might chuck them in the garden in a bit.

On annual leave today.

After breakfast, top up shop at Morrisons. Bought bubble wands along with essentials so had three quarters of an hour playing with bubbles.

Two loads of laundry and stories.

Made pizza for lunch. About to do playdough/crafts then take children for a walk.

We used to try and walk ours as a kitten (can't remember why now, probably as she was a wayward little shit?). I still have the claw mark scars from trying to harness her up !!

Sat in garden (cold!) with lemon in my hair as no hair dye... feeling very 90’s. Kids screaming in house whilst DH is wfh. Cleaned whole house this morning & washed all bedsheets so I think I’m done for today so purging on MN

I did 15 minutes of pilates first thing then cut my fringe (not TOO bad)
Put a wash on and changed our bed.
Just had lunch and been messing about in the kitchen with DS11 dancing and embarrassing him!
Might get in the garden later as I have new garden tools.
Going to read my new cookery book now, Midnight Chicken

Up early. Work. Laundry. Work. Sort DS2. Work. Phone carers and sort things out. Work. Sort DS2. Brain trying to work out when best to go grocery shopping for us and ex-FIL and fit it in with work. Plan cycle route for later. Work.

I'm living the dream.

I have now decided I am going to make a quiche. I don't have any cream so will just use more milk and cross my fingers it still works.

Braved a visit to a Polish mini market as it had no queues,bought some coffee,so on my third cup.Now busy googling polish names of stuff so next time i know what to look for ,rather than going by the pictures.
Already folded carrier bags into triangles last week and weeded the front path.
Might re-fill my pepper pots later - so excited to see if i can not spill any peppercorns .
