North Korea's Supreme Leader/dictator Kim Jong-un has reportedly died, or is on his death bed with no hope for recuperation -- according to media outlets in China and Japan.

Amid reports China has sent a medical team to their communist neighbors this week to check in/advise on Kim, a Hong Kong-backed news channel's vice director who's apparently the niece of a Chinese foreign minister blasted out the news herself ... he's dead. TMZ has not confirmed that.

However:

South Korean, Chinese and U.S. officials have all challenged emerging reports that Kim is seriously ill after undergoing surgery almost two weeks ago—Reuters reported that a South Korean source indicated on Friday that all intelligence pointed to Kim being alive, and likely to make a public appearance shortly.

President Donald Trump said Thursday that he thought the reports that Kim is in grave health were “incorrect,” while another official familiar with U.S. intelligence told Reuters that while Kim is known to have health issues, there is “no reason to conclude he was seriously ill.”
Media outlets have pointed out he may just be social distancing to avoid being infected with coronavirus—the opaque nature of the North Korean regime makes it difficult to confirm the number of coronavirus cases the country has seen.
