To ask if & how you're going to celebrate Easter this year?

It feels so different to a regular Easter weekend where you so look forward to and plan for those two days off!

Are you going to do anything special with your household e.g. nice meal, give Easter eggs, egg hunts for DC etc?

Trying to think of ways to make it still feel like a special moment in the year.

We normally have friends over with their kids to do egg-rolling, and my dad and stepmum were supposed to be staying with us for Easter week Sad

We will do the egg-rolling just the four of us, and have a roast lamb dinner. My two are teenagers, but we will still do an egg hunt in the garden and bake some hot cross buns, I have bought more Easter eggs for them than usual and we will watch movies.

Thankfully I have the craft supplies that were meant for the playscheme here so I've bought some Easter bonnet packs from there so we'll be doing them. I've done the same with the mini eggs for the hunt

Also someone who knows we have SIL's kids with us for the duration kindly left Easter eggs on the doorstep for all of the kids, including the teens.

We don't normally do more than rolling eggs and Easter eggs normally, but SIL's kids are really starting to miss her. They're used to spending holidays with us for a week at a time, but they've been here two now. So, we're going to do a Christmas style weekend with a big meal. Even found some Christmas crackers in the loft.

Hopefully bonnets, egg hunt and facetiming their mum will help pass the weekend.

Easter egg hunt (going to have the be creative as to where to hide them this year) and loads of indoor and garden activities for two DSC. Making hot chocolates with Easter eggs (maybe I'll do an adult version with Baileys added!). Making and undoubtedly watching loads of Tik Tok videos with the kids.

For us adults it's an online wine tasting on Easter Sunday night for the two of us. Running around after the dog and cleaning the house!

Helping out my elderly neighbours making sure they have what they need (bless them, mainly gin and wine so far lol).

Thankfully not working over the weekend!

We are not religious so it holds no significance to us other than the kids getting an egg

Egg hunt in the house/garden and a lamb roast dinner. Washed down with lots of wine because it was supposed to be dp's stag do on Saturday and we were going to see my family on Friday and Sunday. I'm a tad bitter about it, can you tell?!

It will be pretty much the same as usual, except that I'll be able to attend all the relevant Holy Week services online rather than being at work. I bought Easter eggs ages ago, and ordered lamb from the butcher. We'll have a slightly slimmed down Easter lunch, but I've saved up enough flour to bake hot cross buns. We won't have the usual Easter tree/eggs hanging from pussy willow branches, but seeing as I'm furloughed, I'll have enough time to make a proper Easter garden with the children.

Easter egg hunt in the garden, church, long lunch, watch the Pope on TV, Skype family, eat chocolate, snooze in front of a film.
