Just that. People keep saying there will be a baby boom in 9months and I wondered is it true? Are people really having more sex cause they are stuck at home??

Er no. Funnily enough trying to wfh and home-educate a six year old with SEND, stop the house from descending into a giant rubbish tip and trying to keep tabs on the wellbeing of various elderly relatives in isolation has pretty much has pretty much been a bucket of water to the libido.

Maybe if I could stay awake beyond 8pm....

No I'm having none as I have two teenagers and a preteen who are always awake at different times of each other. DH and I have an excellent sex life when they're at school (when our work shifts allow).

I’d much rather sleep at the moment as I’m not getting much thanks to our 5 month old, but we make time for it almost as often as we did.
Plus with our eldest not going to nursery 2 days a week anymore, she’s missing her friends and change of scenery, so we’re all getting snippy and that doesn’t tend to put you in the mood.

I miss my solo outings to the supermarket.

To all of those people surprised that posters are still TTC - if they conceive now, they won’t be giving birth until next January - surely we’re not expecting to be still in a crisis by then?
My baby is due in November and I’m not really worried about it. Maybe I should be... so far the only changes I can see to my maternity care are a few appointments taking place over the phone rather than in person, which is fine.

I only gave birth a few weeks ago so my DP hasn't a chance of getting anywhere near me for a long time (probably years ).
Even if everything was normal, he's at work most of the time doing long shifts (emergency services) so we wouldn't have the time/opportunity anyway.

If I was locked in with new bf then yes, probably lots of sex. Until we ran out of condoms, anyway.

No desire to contribute to baby boom, my IUD is nearly due replacement and it's v early days so we've not been tested with a view to removing the condoms yet.
