I have to WFH. I have a DC at primary and an older one. The older one has complex SN. The homework app keeps beeping.

Neither of the DC is able to do stuff independently. My work inbox is exploding, phone ringing.

Half a day in and I already lost my shit.

Help, how do others manage? I just want to run off

I think it's impossible OP, to some extent you have to see the funny side, one minute you mustn't wfh with children and if HR find out you are dead meat, next minute it's the new normal.

I am Hmm when people talk about home schooling, the people I've met who homeschool actually go out places and their kids do lots of clubs rather than being locked in a house doing worksheets for 3 months.

You work from home across the whole day rather than the working day, leaving outputs that need to be produced until after the kids go to bed or before they wake. It’s the only way to do this. It’s exceptional times so your workplace needs to be flexible with deadlines.

It just isn’t sustainable though. I’m in this position as are team members but I cannot realistically expect them to do this long term. Even medium term.
