To take my child out with chicken pox?

Before I get torn apart I absolutely 100% agree that children with chicken pox should be kept at home until all scabs are healed over and no longer contagious - however I have no food in the house, nobody to go and get it for me, nobody to watch my poorly child and no online delivery slots available until the 26th of March thanks to incredibly selfish panic buyers. I am now starting to worry that we have no food and unless I join what seems to be the ever growing population of idiotic, selfish, and frankly quite stupid people then we will starve.

Please has anyone got any other suggestions for me? Because The thought of taking a miserable, highly contagious child out shopping does not appeal to me under normal circumstances let alone in the current climate....but then again the thought of us all starving isn't too appealing either Angry.

I think it’s a reasonable question and people are getting very defensive about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't if you have Uber eats or Deliveroo? They both collect from the local shops and deliver to us here.
