I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes and I’ve just got to the bit to place an order. There was two cars before me ordering food.

I’ve had a fairly good day - I thought I’d treat myself. It’s going to be ages before I even get to the part of paying. I can’t back out as there’s cars behind me.

Yes to be fair to McDonalds UK, their food sourcing is fairly good.

QuestionableMouse · 13/03/2020 14:44

It isn't chemical shite @Devlesko.

It's just food. Do you feel the same about Burger King?

OlaEliza · 13/03/2020 15:11

I want a mcds now but can't be arsed to go out 😔

Plus I've got a chicken in the oven so should have chicken tonight.

flirtygirl · 13/03/2020 15:45

A Mcdonalds thread is always good to show up those that lack critical thinking.

Its British beef, potatoes, bread buns, chicken breast and free range eggs but because its Mcdonald's, it's suddenly chemical shite.

SheSaidNoFuckThat

Were you born without a sense of humour, or did you have it surgically removed?

Turolive · 13/03/2020 16:18

@Devlesko

Everything is made of chemicals. Hmm

Thekindyoufindinasecondhand · 13/03/2020 16:23

It's McDonald's not glue she's eating Grin

BarbaraofSeville · 13/03/2020 16:26

Something is a treat if it's something you enjoy and usually also that you shouldn't have it all the time/very often either because it's not very healthy or could be more expensive than your budget allows.

Therefore, for the people who enjoy McDonalds, and I appreciate that not everyone does, but the fact that there's quite a few McDs, which appears to be a profitable business, around, suggests that many people do, they meet the definition of a treat.

Gingerkittykat · 13/03/2020 20:25

@Gingerkittykat I'm guessing it was under £30? So use contactless. Alternatively, don't stick your fingers in your mouth after paying?

I'm one of the few people in the world who does not have contactless, you've just reminded me I need to ask for a new card.

I'm handwashing loads right now but still got a paranoia about getting infected and then putting it onto my steering wheel.

Rhubarbpeony · 13/03/2020 20:31

All food is chemicals you weirdos

Devlesko · 13/03/2020 20:41

Some more than others Grin
Nah, you eat your shite, plenty of other things to worry about, haven't we.

PotholeParadise · 13/03/2020 20:43

It's been three days. Do you think the OP's got her food yet? Grin

TurOlive · 13/03/2020 21:32

@devlesko

And chemicals are bad because...

DrySnitch · 13/03/2020 21:41

ChEmIkiLlZ!!!1!!1

KatherineJaneway · 13/03/2020 22:41

Pissed off OP can't be bothered to update Hmm

PotholeParadise · 13/03/2020 22:45

It's not a patch on the live birth threads, is it? Grin

Shape up, OP! How distracting can a McDonalds meal be?

MintyMabel · 13/03/2020 23:05

Hate drive thru's (sic). They are for lazy people who can't get off their backsides and walk anywhere

They are very useful for not having to get DD and her wheelchair out of the car to go inside and order, only to have to come out and eat it in the car anyway because the only table with wheelchair space hasn’t been left free so there is nowhere for us to sit and the twats who sat there refuse to move.

HavenDilemma · 13/03/2020 23:23

McDonalds is the only fast food retailer to be all organic also.
Sadly, as displayed on this thread, for some people, there is nothing at all McDonalds can do to convince them. They could change to selling nothing but Kale & superfood bowls and they'd still be classed as junk by some

Jumpjumpjumper · 14/03/2020 01:45

Drive thru is brilliant when I have 20 mins between two kids activities, in two venues 4 miles apart.

ButterflyRuns · 14/03/2020 02:00

Erm?

notchickenagain · 14/03/2020 14:53

But drive-thrus were INVENTED for lazy bastards (like me). Nothing to do with quicker service, you've made that up. And perfect as others have pointed out for toddlers in the car that no fucking way are you going to be arsed to get them all out and go inside then find there's no tables.
