I was very upset confused & amused to find that Noel Clarke has blocked me on Twitter.

I've never even interacted with the bloke & I really like him as an actor & the films & tv shows he's in. No fucking idea how I've come to be blocked 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Have you ever upset a celebrity? Did you knick Baby Spice's parking space? Did you spill a drink on Keith Chegwin?

I once sent Adam Richman (of Man vs Food fame) a tweet asking why he left his coat on during his eating challenges. He promptly sent me a private message saying "Rude." And blocked me. Confused

I don't know if I upset Robbie Coltrane by running out of J&B Whisky when I was working in a theatre bar decades ago. I think I did because the previous five evenings post show it was all he drank. As in, around 8 shots of the stuff.

Kylie sent the most gorgeous letter to a dear friend of mine who had cancer. She had met friend's son in Austrailia and got chatting and asked for friend's address to cheer him up. It was the sweetest letter.

Served Bowie and Iman drinks and nibbles years ago and they were fabulous. Actually met a load of really lovely celebs down the years. Glad to hear Jo Lycett was lovely, I love him.

DogAttack · 10/03/2020 20:26

Victoria beckham. I started a thread about her on here years ago. My OP wasn’t horrible but someone said something about her kids being a bit dim. She wasn’t impressed and mentioned it in an interview.

Hoppinggreen · 10/03/2020 20:28

Gregg Wallace
I told him not to speak to me like that !

justasking111 · 10/03/2020 20:28

Some great stories. Mumsnet had a thread on a court case running about a litigious person. I looked up the person on twitter to find I was blocked.

TheNestedIf · 10/03/2020 20:30

On holiday in Bournemouth as a 6 month old baby, I'm told I suddenly burped very loudly and made Paul Daniels jump.

oxoxoxoxo · 10/03/2020 20:30

I stepped backwards once at Badminton Horse Trials and trod on someone's foot - it was Princess Anne! It was donkeys years ago and I forget the details but I think she wasn't impressed and said something - probably 'F* Orf'......Grin

clackymules · 10/03/2020 20:30

Many years ago I was in a London dept store when who I should I spy striding along but Alan Rickman.

'There's Alan Rickman' I said to the friend I was with, totally normally. Anyway, he must have heard me because he suddenly sped off, as if afraid I was going to go running after him all fan-girly.

I wonder if he was at all disappointed that I didn't? Grin

TheYearOfTheDog · 10/03/2020 20:30

''Many years ago but Lorraine Kelly arrived to check in at the hotel I was working at - I asked her name. She was most put out that I didn’t recognise her!''

This makes me laugh @devoilmum as clearly, you had a JOB!

PJsAndCosySocks · 10/03/2020 20:31

Yes! A few months ago, DH and I got in a tizzy with the 1 way streets in central London. We nearly knocked down poor Christopher Biggins! Mortifying! He shouted and swore at us and I died in my seat from deep shame! It was a proper telling off and I felt about 7 years old.

PyongyangKipperbang · 10/03/2020 20:32

@justasking111
She Who Must Not Be Named has blocked me too!

TheYearOfTheDog · 10/03/2020 20:33

@AddressLabel ha ha that would have been me as well, why won't those young men move over, the smell of aftershave in here, good grief!

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 10/03/2020 20:38

My relative, in a professional capacity, upset a Very Important politician (he wasn’t as important then) well she forgot to send him a Christmas card from her work. He may have accidentally tried to run her over on his bike then.

PhilSwagielka · 10/03/2020 20:40

I caused an argument among my favourite band. It's a very long story but suffice to say, i didn't even know about it until a friend told me.

mynamesmrdiggety · 10/03/2020 20:43

@BrimfulofSasha I went to school with him and his sister Catherine. Not surprised he's so up himself! She was ok though.

PhilSwagielka · 10/03/2020 20:45

Also, Ricky Gervais blocked me and I have no idea why, but I'm not arsed because I can't stand him.

Sarcelle · 10/03/2020 20:46

@@pyongbangKipperbang - Robert Lindsay wears dark glasses for a medical complaint.

Kahlua4me · 10/03/2020 20:48

I met Jack Dee in a coffee shop once in Australia and got his name wrong. I called him by an Australian comedian’s name instead. He was not impressed!

NoraEphronsneck · 10/03/2020 20:50

I hate Dan Wootten too.
He was absolutely vile today to Gemma Forte on the Jeremy Vine show. Very shouty and aggressive. I almost tweeted J V because he should have reined him in. She held her own but seemed a bit embarrassed.

ALongHardWinter · 10/03/2020 20:50

I'm Shock at some of these! Honeyned Erin O'Connor called you a retard? What a rude bitch!
And DeltaAlphaDelta,That's no less than I'd expect from Nancy D' Ellolio. She's always been pumped up with her own self-importance.

Sparklingplasters · 10/03/2020 20:50

I lack a filter after a drink, I once told James Nesbit that he was taller and better looking on the tv.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 10/03/2020 20:53

Oh, and I stepped on Dean Gafney’s stomach in a club go on Grannie, tell us how?

TheYearOfTheDog · 10/03/2020 20:54

Good. He loves himself more than he has a right to!

TheYearOfTheDog · 10/03/2020 20:56

I'm pretty sure I saw Erin O'Connor coming out of a launderette in Ireland once and she was with a man, a famous man but I cannot for the life of me remember who. But they did not look glamorous, they must have been down to their last pair of clean undies and I thought how random. I wouldn't have thought it was her but the two of them together, I recognised them both. Did she go out with Jamie Theakston, I feel like it could have been him.

TheYearOfTheDog · 10/03/2020 20:58

But I didn't upset either of them so I"ve missed the point of the thread!
