Still here too Gojettergirl. DS and i were reading paper dolls at bedtime tonight.

I aways think of all the loved little ones living on in our memories, joined by more lovely things each day.

@GoJetterGirl that's hard for you but it would have been irresponsible for them to go ahead.maybe you could have a memorial and gathering later this year?

Oh dear. That is rotten. Of course they had to but it doesn't make it any easier for you. How are the rest of you arrangements going?

It doesn't mean that you can't have a good send off for him, it just means it will be postponed for a little while.

He won’t get the send off he deserves right now but when all this crazy virus stuff goes away then you can always have a “celebration of life” event.

My friend’s dad was tragically murdered which meant a funeral in the normal timeframe wasn’t possible. So they had a celebration of life event.
There were pictures of him everywhere, people played videos of him on a projector screen. Everyone took turns to talk about him and tell funny stories.
It was really lovely. And just because he wasn’t physically present (already cremated at this point) we all felt he was 100% there.

Your boy will get his lovely send off if you want to do it on another special date... maybe his birthday?

This must be unbelievably hard for you, I’ve thought about you and your boy so much as I work in an office facing BCH.
