To drink a pint of vodka and tonic

My friend and I at Christmas wanted to 'look at the boys sleeping' at a local boarding school. Rightly,security said no. We are in our early 50s. We may have been drinking.

I do this with pernod and coke. I can't bring myself to do it with gin though, I like a balloon glass with a long stem so I can feel fancy.

I used to do this in clubs when the drinks were cheap before midnight or whatever time... Good times

I do that with my vodka and redbull, saves going back to the fridge lol.

OP you need to call AA immediately. You have a clear drinking problem and your dp is probably enabling you so you should LTB as well.

Reminds me of uni. Quad vods in a pint glass, only £2 each. Buckets on tables (for the inevitable puking). Good times.

In summer I drink pints of vodka soda and lime at the pub. I only have a double shot in my pint but it means my pint of vodka soda lasts as long as dps pint of larger.

Yabu, tonic is disgusting.

I don’t have this problem.....I’m sitting in the kitchen with my whiskey and coke with the bottles in front of me for easy refilling.

Bonus is the stair gate on the kitchen door preventing any children being able to climb on/ pinch/ bite me/ touch me at all [CNN wink]

I don't enjoy the effects of alcohol anymore (thanks peri ), but sometimes get a craving for the taste of it. So I pour a single measure of toffee vodka into a pint glass and top up with ginger beer (pref Fentimens) and ice. It's the best alcoholic drink I've ever had. I know it sounds grim though

Where have all the anti-drinkers gone? Normally these threads are full of people telling you off and sending you to AA!!! Maybe they are all sipping on their herbal teas miserably (joke) (well kind of)

I have a pint while i clean the kitchen.

Last night I made a pint of mojito. Bloody lovely and the perfect end to a crappy day.

I think you are being extremely unreasonable, now if it was Vodka and diet coke or Vodka and Irn Bru i would be asking you to pour me one as well
