Sugary carby crack. Think I could easily eat an entire packet one sitting so don't get them in.

OMG the M&S salted caramel ones are absolutely gorgeous 😋😋😋. Some of the shops buns can be quite dry but M&S always come out on top because they are so tasty and soft. I normally only eat 1 at a time but could eat more if hungry and wasn't such a fatty 🤣

Whatsername177 · 11/02/2020 21:25

One. Because they are just fruity bread. Don't feel anywhere near naughty enough to bother with a second.

Emmelina · 11/02/2020 21:30

Sainsbury’s bakery. Lurpak spreadable.
I could easily put away the whole packet. I wouldn’t, but I could.

housemdwaswrong · 11/02/2020 22:15

At least 6 over a couple of hours/ few journeys to the fridge. No butter or spread, just warmed.

Who said they were just fruit bread? Shock they are so much more; spicier and a completely different texture. I love them.

Dieu · 11/02/2020 22:16

I'm a greedy cow, so probably 4 at least.

Crockof · 11/02/2020 22:18

@Bluebutterfly90 you have it, the more you eat the more hungry you are. Interesting Jaffa cakes are the same.

HeyMac · 11/02/2020 22:18

Easily one packet

But if it was a life and death situation I feel I could probably eat about 5

MinkowskisButterfly · 11/02/2020 22:21

Used to be able to eat them until they were coming out of my ears (hence why I'm fat) but lately they just aren't right, too bready, the butter just doesn't melt in properly so the bread feels dry.

abstractzebra · 11/02/2020 22:25

The whole of the pack but they do give me a really bad gassy feeling afterwards and a fullness like I've swallowed a whole pillow!

elc19 · 11/02/2020 22:27

Zero Envy

altiara · 11/02/2020 22:27

2.5-3 I think. I could prob follow that will 2 creme eggs!

happymummy12345 · 11/02/2020 22:31
  1. Always cold, open so top and bottom are separate, half just butter on half butter and strawberry jam.
LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 11/02/2020 22:35

I’ve never tried but I recon I could do 4.

jelly79 · 11/02/2020 22:36

Also are doing the chocolate and salted caramel ones. I put them in my basket after some heavy debate but then had to leave the shop so left them!

I'd eat all the hot cross buns. All the flavour too!

bellsbuss · 11/02/2020 22:40

3 with an inch of butter on each halfBlush

Snaleandthewhail · 11/02/2020 22:46

I know they’re wrong, but the pack of nine “mini” not so mini ones you can get from Waitrose are grand, and the chocolate orange ones are wrong and yet so very right.

One is only about two bites.

ferretface · 11/02/2020 23:01

Two. Maybe three or four if they were runty mini sized ones. I think I would feel rough after though, like the second Krispy Kreme that seems so appealing but quickly backfires

AdaStarkadder · 11/02/2020 23:02

Four is my record - the first one just makes me hungrier!

PickAChew · 11/02/2020 23:04

Just the one. Maybe once a year. Tasty but too sweet and I broke a tooth in one, once, so just remember that.

SisterAgatha · 11/02/2020 23:10

Three. I limit myself to one thoigh Sad might bake some tmw so I can make bigger ones and get more in my gob!

AlanRickmanFanClub · 11/02/2020 23:11

None Envy (not envy]

longcoffee · 11/02/2020 23:20

Lots. But not toasted, not buttered and only with strawberry jam.

goldenorbspider · 12/02/2020 07:48

I was waiting for someone to say this! I don't toast mine

Duvetday8 · 12/02/2020 08:20

Two

AmazingGreats · 12/02/2020 08:23

I eat them two at a time and need a couple of hours to recharge, factor in a nights sleep and I'd say on an average day it would be 16 hot cross buns in a day (although I haven't actually tried this so may need to do the experiment and come back)
