Sugary carby crack. Think I could easily eat an entire packet one sitting so don't get them in.

What are Aldi doing this year? I loved their rhubarb and white choc ones last year and no Aldi near me so haven't had a chance to look.

Dd and I got through 12 last week. Dd has them for breakfast and will eat 2 a sitting if I don't catch her.

We like m&s salted caramel and luxury trad best. Not keen on Waitrose or Tesco ones in general. M&S marmalade and Bramley apple acceptable. Asda and Lidl ok and not tried Sainsbury's but we're prepared to travel......,

OpportunityKnocks · 11/02/2020 20:17

All of them.

Not all of the packet. Just all of them

MotherHeggy · 11/02/2020 20:18

None. Hate them.

goldenorbspider · 11/02/2020 20:20

There's soo many nice combinations! Must try them all

I made a load of hot crossed bun bread on Sunday. It’s all gone.

I think I could eat 6 or maybe even 8 Blush

fairyfingers · 11/02/2020 20:22

OP it is a serious commitment and not for the faint hearted. You need to knuckle down I tell you

roobledoo · 11/02/2020 20:23

A whole packet. Easy. With a thick wedge of salted butter.
My Mouth is watering.

ShowOfHands · 11/02/2020 20:26

I only ever have one but DH can eat a packet on his way home from the shops.

They make excellent bread and butter pudding...

TheFutureMrsB · 11/02/2020 20:30

One mouthful before I realise that I still don't like them Hmm

ForalltheSaints · 11/02/2020 20:32

Maybe a couple, on Good Friday.

It is not yet Shrove Tuesday or Ash Wednesday, save them for Good Friday!

Foghead · 11/02/2020 20:34

None but I am tempted by the new M&S cheese and chilli ones... probably eat a whole load of them. That’s why I haven’t tried them yet.

Porkeypine · 11/02/2020 20:36

Eighth none they’re vile tasting

DMCWelshcakes · 11/02/2020 20:38

All the hot cross buns.

But not any of these heathen monstrosities with chocolate chips or rhubarb or chilli filth in!

Thelnebriati · 11/02/2020 20:39

Challenge accepted, how many have you got?

KittenVsBox · 11/02/2020 20:45

2 is a breakfast for my 10yr old. I'm sure he could eat many more, but I'm not prepared to test it!

PrincessHoneysuckle · 11/02/2020 20:45

Hot cross buns-2

Toasted tea teacakes drenched in butter- 1000

maddiemookins16mum · 11/02/2020 20:57

2, but I could squeeze a third (especially the ASDA fudge ones) with butter spread so thick you can see your teeth marks in.

sqirrelfriends · 11/02/2020 21:06

All of them, easily.

I don't have a big appetite usually but I have a second stomach for hot cross buns (especially toasted with loads of butter).

flounderfish · 11/02/2020 21:06
Shock

2 at a push

creme eggs though...

IpanemaGallina · 11/02/2020 21:09

One is enough for me.

Thelnebriati · 11/02/2020 21:10

Use them to make cinnamon toasted hot cross buns. and add nutmeg also. And butter.
I did the 48 hour fast last weekend, I think I've turned feral.

Redcrayons · 11/02/2020 21:10

To clarify, I'm only talking about proper hot cross buns. I won't have any those chocolate, salted caramel, cheese ones in the house.

I haven't succumbed yet though. Im still shedding the mince pie pounds.

AveEldon · 11/02/2020 21:15

2 but it requires a v large cuppa to wash them down

shinyredbus · 11/02/2020 21:17

Half of 1 bun.
