Im current pregnant with my first, 16 weeks and have been looking for posts for advice etc etc. I guess many on here have young children, how do you get enough time whilst looking after young DC to post on here.

My son would only nap on me for the first year. So playing on my phone was a lifeline! I also read a lotta books on my phone.

Weird, slightly passive aggressive thing to post though.

@LunasOrchid it’s funny as someone with no children as friends with children act like it’s 24/7 thing and they literally get no no rest. I remember a debate when the Duchess of Windsor had George and in a debate with friends l mentioned not imagining get my nice frock, high heels and make up on to prance about in after giving birth. More sit on the sofa and order takeaway were my thoughts. I was told “YOU CAN TELL YOU DONT HAVE CHILDREN!!!! YOU CANT JUST SIT, HAHA YOU CHILDFREE CHILDREN HAVE IT SO EASY. ITS NONE STOP 😡. I was sceptical but obviously have no children so can’t comment without a world of derision being directed to me

You do know that you dont have to spend every single waking second looking at your child....
2 minutes to write / respond to a post isnt gonna harm them

I'm glad I didn't discover MN until my children were teenagers or they'd have been totally neglected Wink
