EngagedAgain · 04/02/2020 13:33

Nrtft so not sure if been mentioned - star bars. Pretty sure they don't do them any more. Still, just as well as I'm on a permanent diet! There is another chocolate bar I like which is still available but the name escapes me at the moment. It's Cadbury with raisins, toffee, with a wafer, quite chewy.

lifeisgoodmostofthetime · 04/02/2020 13:33

Potato puff crisps. I use buy several packets of various flavours and tip them into a big bowl and indulge

Banana bubbles, the cereal that thinks it’s a milkshake

(Basically like cocopops but banana instead of chocolate)

Peacenquiet2 · 04/02/2020 13:36

Spira bar and Cadbury top deck

Whatthefunk · 04/02/2020 13:37

Mcvitie's Gypsy creams....

PippinStar · 04/02/2020 13:38

@turnandfacethenamechange as someone mentioned, Lidl do the chocolate Pringle things. The mint ones are definitely vegan, not sure about the other favours Smile

Pantah630 · 04/02/2020 13:39

Wispa Bite bar was, unfortunately, completely different to the Wispa bitsa you can still get. These had lovely biscuit and caramel in and were so delicious I'd buy a box full from Bookers and eat them all

babybunny123 Nooooo! They always tasted like sick to me!

BreatheAndFocus · 04/02/2020 13:42

@EngagedAgain Bad news for your diet - they still make Star Bars drool I’ve bought them in supermarkets and newsagents very recently.

For me, Aztec Bars, the old recipe Creme Eggs not the new disgusting 🤮 ones, Fuse bars, the Milk Tray bar with different flavours in each shape, Spangles sweets - both the fruit ones and those weirdy flavour
ones whose name I can’t remember.

Savoury-wise - Savoury Vinegar crisps (I loved those), and I think there was also a Smiths crisp with skulls and bones that was a lovely strong salt and vinegar flavour (was it called Bones??)

Mainly I crave childhood treat items 😄

Housewife2010 · 04/02/2020 13:43

Terry's Neapolitan chocolates with the Mocha flavour. Also coffee Matchmakers, Fuse Bars, Walls Sonata ( a very chocolatey type of Vienetta), Terry's Dark Chocolate Lemons, Bridge Mints ( with the fab box that opened in the middle.

IndigoHexagon · 04/02/2020 13:47

Football Crazy bacon crisp things
Original Milky Way
Cadbury’s Flyte
Sharwoods Sweet Chilli Sauce (before sweet chilli sauce became a thing, this dark red thick sauce with no visible chilli flakes was THE best Chinese sauce)
Bernard Matthew Turkey Breast Steaks
And years ago, from the chiller aisle near the milk, you could get this coffee in a bottle which was highly condensed into a thick sauce consistency. I had a funny dispenser on top that you twisted to get your desired strength from 1-5 and then you squeezed the bottle and the condenser filled and your poured it into a cup and added boiling water. It was like proper coffee without the fuss of having a coffee machine to make it. I think it was Kenco that made it.

ChameleonCircuit · 04/02/2020 13:47

Farlene baby porridge. I bloody loved that stuff.

AnuvvaMuvva · 04/02/2020 13:47

About 30 years ago (!!!) Waitrose used to bake a sort of marmalade cookie - it was all golden-syrupy with pieces of orange peel in it.

Maybe I was the only person who liked it. 😢
