Another one I miss is a kitkat with the old wrapping so you could do that special tearing of the foil with your nail to break off each finger. So satisfying. You can't do that the modern wrapper :(

The kitkats I bought recently were in foil and paper.

Circa 1997 M&S used to do chocolate biscuit bars, a bit like a Club but they were dark chocolate with chocolate biscuit and lemon cream. They were amazing and I still think of them often.

@xoxoxoxoxoxoxo they weren’t like pips - pips were more like a boiled sweet... these were hard in the way an aniseed ball is hard. But they were tiny, round balls. Honestly, if my sister didn’t remember them too, I’d think I’d made them up. I wonder if they were called something different outside of Nottingham! Even trusty google has drawn a blank!

When I was a child I remember enjoying an amazing mousse dessert that was flavoured with toffee but it had a slightly "burnt" taste to it. I loved it, but they stopped making it pretty soon after I discovered it and I never saw it again. They made a strawberry version but that wasn't the same.

I think it was called Hippopotamousse? I was very young haha.
