BN biscuits are still a thing, they came back a few years ago but they do not taste the same. I’m afraid most things don’t taste the same when they make a comeback, I guess they have to use less sugar and more chemicals nowadays.

Urkiddingright · 05/02/2020 17:15

My friend’s Mum always used to make us these for dessert when I went for tea.

ooh I haven't read it all but I LOVED toast toppers!!!

Mine would be fizz bombs. Those rock hard sweets in pink or blue with a really fizzy coating (from the 70's probably)!!

kazaroo0 · 05/02/2020 17:35

Can't remember the name of it but the cheese that came in a brown jar and you spread it on toast and grilled it

I would love to have Sara Lee double chocolate gateau back.

hennaoj · 05/02/2020 17:45

Rowantrees secret bars.
Galaxy truffle eggs (the large ones from the 90's)

Carol19578 · 05/02/2020 17:47

Nutty bars
Cabana
Nutty banjo
I would be in heaven if these came back

Zoflorabore · 05/02/2020 17:53

Apologies if this has been mentioned but I’ve just had a flashback to being in primary school and we loved gold bullions toffee and a toffee bar called highland toffee. This would have been mid to late 80’s.

tierdytierd · 05/02/2020 17:54

Puffs ‘crisps’
Twix in the original packets (and size!) tasted better than they do now
Cadbury cream eggs.... they’re now smaller and narrower and taste different... like all the joy ingredients have been removed/swapped for a portion of misery
Im equally sad & bitter about this... after sitting down last week to enjoy a cream egg and it was just wrong... box of 5 too... bummer!!

Franklymydearidontgiveaham · 05/02/2020 17:56

Sara Lee Chocolate Gateaux

Namechangerextraordinaire1 · 05/02/2020 17:58

Sundog cheese popcorn
Potato puffs crisps
Oh to taste them one more time

user1493391099 · 05/02/2020 17:59

In the mid 90s I’m sure there were Terry’s chocolate orange truffles. Does anyone else remember? Everyone I have asked before can’t remember them so not sure if I’ve imagined it but I’m sure they existed!

NitNat78 · 05/02/2020 18:00

Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby - peanut butter and pretzel ice cream. Oh and their Strawberry Cheesecke ice cream!

user1493391099 · 05/02/2020 18:00

Yes Sara Lee gateaux! It was always the alternative to trifle on Christmas Day!

Lou12124 · 05/02/2020 18:02

Time outs! Not the crappy wafer things they do now but the real time outs!

Insanelysilver · 05/02/2020 18:08

Doesn’t sound very exciting I know, but I’d bring back, Heinz tomato Frito in the glass jar. It was an amazing base for pasta sauce or spaghetti Bol etc.
I miss it as I used it all the time. I reckon they decided it had too much sugar in it

Think they decided it had too much sugar in it
