Sainsbury's extra thick chocolate milkshake powder- yeah so it probably sawdust in it, but it was lush

Blamangeatrois · 04/02/2020 23:43

Another vote for toast toppers and proper walnut whips, and proper Cadbury's creme eggs with the chocolate so thick you had to scrape and scrape at the shell with your teath to get started - fantastic!

Marks and Spencer Manchester Tart.
Also, I know M&S still sell Custard slices, but they bare no resemblance to the ones of yesteryear that had proper creme pat in the middle.

Yes to proper Cadbury’s dairy milk!!

smileylottie87 · 05/02/2020 00:06

Worcestershire twiglets and old style salt and vinegar discos, the kind that were so strong they'd make your eyes water!

Pushpushpoosh · 05/02/2020 00:07

McCain micro toastie and pizzas so bad they were good!
Lunchables pizzas the old style ones loved them as a kid!

Haven't RTFT but I saw the title and thought "marble chocolate bar" before i opened the thread. What the hell happened to it! It's hands down the best chocolate bar so why did they stop making it Angry

SirVixofVixHall · 05/02/2020 00:35

Another yes for Terry’s Neopolitans, and the Terry’s orange wafer bars too.
Callard and Bowser nougat in the little box , sticks of nougat in silver covered paper, I loved those.

Marahute · 05/02/2020 00:52

Excited that so many people remember the Secret Chocolate Bar!

I have through of another, although I cannot for the life of me, remember the name. Was a kind of crispy caramel low cal chocolate/treat bar.
It was chocolate with this yummy caramel filling and had crispy bits on the outside (IIRC), they tasted so good. Sold in the late 90s and possibly into early 00s. Ooh, that will drive me crazy now...!

RUSU92 · 05/02/2020 00:57

There used to be a dessert brand called Entemanns and they made the most incredible New York cheesecake They also did an awesome pecan danish, I searched online for it a couple of weeks ago to no avail! Sad

Taddda · 05/02/2020 01:08

M&S Chinese chicken wings from 30 years ago! They were massive and tasted amazing (my nan used to make huge picnic hampers for days out in the summer hols, always had these in) - now they're minuscule and acrid!

Luckypoppy · 05/02/2020 01:12
