Just been on the online version (I know, my own fault!), there was a story with a picture of a dog being barbequed alive on the newsfeed! wtaf?? I just can't un see it, thank God I didn't click on it, the image was enough, I can't fathom how anyone can photograph it and not do anything, and then for a paper to publish it words fail me, just bloody horrific and wrong, I've got palpitations now, total bastards

It's not fake. And yes Peta did that in their campaign for vegan idm, but that's not related to the op. Op was on about a dog being cooked alive which happens every day. This was from yesterday

Dog meat is quite expensive, and it's usually a speciality dish, not for everyday consumption. It's true they find the meat better if it's been tortured. In many parts of China it is also illegal and most young people I've asked find it aborhant too, others said it tastes good but they also find the idea disturbing. Hopefully this cruel trade will receive tougher regulations against it and finish completely. I am living in the south of China.
