To ask what is your mortgage rate?

Changeembrace · 24/01/2020 13:22

I’m divorced and previously ex took complete control of all things financial (not in a “controlling” way I hasten to add, it was just the division of responsibility we decided upon)

Anyway - now I’m obviously in control but still getting to grips with some things.

My capital repayment mortgage is 2.09% 5 year fixed (expires June 2023). Remaining mortgage term is 23 years.

What is your rate?

Many thanks

I think our 5 y rate is marginally lower. We had a large deposit and the deal expires this year.

Alarae · 24/01/2020 13:38

1.94% I believe.

Five year fixed to 2023.

Teaandbiscuits88 · 24/01/2020 13:39

1.99% 2 year fixed

Singlebutmarried · 24/01/2020 13:39

Life time track at .25 above base rate.

No way I’m moving that one at the moment.

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 24/01/2020 13:40

We had a five year fixed which finishes next year at 2.94. Five years to go after that!

sleepyhead · 24/01/2020 13:41

I just remortgaged to a 5 year fix at 1.93%

sleepyhead · 24/01/2020 13:42

18 years to go, LTV below 60%

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 24/01/2020 13:43

2yr fix, 1.69%, just started last month.

Lippy1234 · 24/01/2020 13:43

0.18% above Bank of England Base Rate.

user1471449295 · 24/01/2020 13:43

1.5% 2 year fixed

Her0utdoors · 24/01/2020 13:44
  1. 90%, fixed for 5 years, 2 years ago. We are low income so couldn't shop around, but have a good % of equity.
SedentaryCat · 24/01/2020 13:44

1.94% Fixed for another 4 years.

Her0utdoors · 24/01/2020 13:44

Doh! 2.09%, not t'other way round.

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 24/01/2020 13:45

2.5% SVR
we are technically overpaying a bit on the rate. However our mortgage is small , and so the fees charged to remortgage onto a better rate make a disproportionate difference to the total outlay across the length of the deal IYSWIM.

Mintjulia · 24/01/2020 13:47

2.64% but my mortgage is small, so the arrangement fee would be larger than the amount I would save by switching. II haven’t bothered.

Metalhead · 24/01/2020 13:49

1.99% on a 5-year fix until 2022.

nutbrownhare15 · 24/01/2020 13:49

2.25%. Three years into 5 year fix. Rates seemed to go down just after we got it.

ChipsCheeseAndBeans · 24/01/2020 13:51

1.89 5 year fix. 1 year in.

Baaaahhhhh · 24/01/2020 13:53

Grumpy because ours is 2.24% - but coming to the end of a fixed rate next year. We can overpay though, and there was no arrangement or fixed fee, so swings and roundabouts, I guess it was a good deal at the time.

Henlie · 24/01/2020 13:53

We’re on a 2 year fixed, 1.3%..... LTV around 33%

Imstaying50untilDHdoesit · 24/01/2020 13:54

European rate plus 0.75%. Luckily we have a tracker because interest rates in Ireland are ridiculously high.

Mummyshark2018 · 24/01/2020 14:11

One part of our mortgage is .25 over BOE base rate and we remortgaged recently to extend and this is 1.98 fixed for 3 years.

MiniMum97 · 24/01/2020 14:14

1.89% 5 yr fix. Couple of years in.

Hadtoask · 24/01/2020 14:15

Two year tracker. It was an expensive product but allows overpayments and has a lower than 2pc rate.

Asdf12345 · 24/01/2020 14:17

1.69% five year fix ending in about four and a half years. 75% loan to value.
