I'm sorry if this has been done before - couldn't find it.

Just really interested in others' days, what time you get up and go to bed, what kind of work / chores you do on an average weekday?

During the week I get up at 5 and exercise (running usually)

Leave house at 630 am and walk to work.

Work 7-4

Either walk home or meet a friend or other half after work for meal, cinema, more sport.

Bed early doors about 9

Don't do many chores in the week as I'm not at home. Maybe the odd wash load.

Weekends I do whatever.
No kids though. I don't work Fridays so went to the Lake District for the day.

Get up at 6.15am. take dog for half an hr walk.

Get a shower and get ready

Wake dd up to get ready.

Faff about for an hour (put a wash on, have a little tidy round)

Drop DD at friends to walk to school, get to work.

Home for 4.45 - cook tea (unless DH is home then he will have started it)

Currently doing couch to 5k with dd, so if it not a run night, I'll take dog for a walk.

Get in, watch some TV, laze about. Bed around 10ish.

Weekend - lie in, don't get dressed until I have to. Saturday or Sunday - depending on dh's shifts, we'll go out somewhere we can take the dog and usually have lunch out.

Any rare full weekend DH has off (shift worker), we will come away somewhere, like this weekend, we have come to Wales and it's just beautiful. Staying in an old cottage, log fire burning. Beautiful scenery. Can't beat it.

Work full time, Monday - Friday.

05.00 get up and get ready, prep etc before husband leaves at
06:00. DD wakes up, get her ready, fed, dressed, play for a bit etc.
07:10 leave for bus stop
07:25 get on bus to parents or nursery
07:35 drop off DD and wait for next bus, or go directly to nursery
07:45 get on bus to work.
08:00 get to town, buy coffee, get to work
08:15 - 16:45 work
16:55 bus to parents or nursery to collect DD
17:05. Get next bus home
17:30 arrive home with DD, prep dinner etc. Play with DD
17:50 husband arrives home and cook dinner, have quick wash
18:15 dinner
19:00 DD bedtime
19:00 - 20:30 chores and boring soul destroying adult tasks
20:30 bed

I have no life, very little fun and relaxation time! Hoping things will improve as DD gets older.

Merlotmum85 · 26/01/2020 10:09

5:45 alarm, browse phone for 15 mins to wake up, coffee, shower and get ready for work.
Wake up teenage dd at 7 then leave at 7:15.
Get to work for 8 then work straight through until about 4 - 5 depending on meetings etc. Some later evenings too.
Home, flake out on sofa with a cuppa for a bit then start dinner and tidying up around the house.
Bit more work with Netflix on in the background, chivvy dd to do homework.
9:30 - 10 start to fall asleep on sofa, go to bed.
So it's the dull treadmill of life. In a few years when dd has grown up I am planning a big change!
