I was insulted today and told I look much older than I am. Could I ask you to tell me how old you think?

Post a photo that's not been adjusted in any way. I'm guessing you are probably in your 30's if that's your child in the second photo, but people think you are a decade or so older?

Photos with filtets play tricks with people's perception. Your brain tries to redo what it thinks has been altered and can create an image far worse than the the original!!

That second picture has also got a snap chat filter on.

To get any real answers you need to upload a non filtered photo.

I’d say without all the filters as they make you look better.. early 60s.

Can’t you just take a normal photo of yourself right now? It’s impossible to guess from those pics

The filters make it virtually impossible.

I’d say late 50s but possibly a bit younger if you’re a heavy smoker or have lost a lot of weight recently.

So what is your age and who offended you, OP?

She wants to know how the filters are working, not what age she looks like in real life. I guessed mid 60s as I'm 57 and she has deeper wrinkles.

In all honesty does it matter what age strangers the ink you are? And if you are offended by one person then hundreds getting it wrong aren’t going to help!
