I was insulted today and told I look much older than I am. Could I ask you to tell me how old you think? Blush

Be kind, but honest

OP ditch the filters they're awful (on anyone!). You look lovely naturally!

HeronLanyon · 18/01/2020 21:59

I think you look your age and also look a little older.
I too think you are a smoker. I think you’d look younger if your hair was less blonde, more natural and perhaps less makeup?
You look lovely anyway. Don’t worry about what anyone else says or thinks !

fantasmasgoria1 · 18/01/2020 21:59

The one without filters seems a little out of focus and it's difficult to tell how old you are. Smoking can definitely age people but I have met lifelong smokers who look really young! If you wanted an honest answer /opinion then a really clear selfie with no filters would have been better!

Putthekettleonplease · 18/01/2020 21:59

Ridiculous filter. But 55

doobiev · 18/01/2020 22:00

Looking older or younger is not just about how many wrinkles you do or don't have hence why I knew the OP was in her 40s ever though her skin looks older & same for @Debtfreewannab who's skin could be of a 20 something but looks around her age.

justasking111 · 18/01/2020 22:01

60s

sassafras123 · 18/01/2020 22:01

65

Debtfreewannab · 18/01/2020 22:02

I think filters definitely make us all look younger!

I've RTFT, but I still think you look 52. I don't think smoking can age you that much, your neck to me is a give away.

MuchBetterNow · 18/01/2020 22:02

Even before you said your actual age I guessed 45 which isn’t far off.

The posters saying late 50s and 60s are arseholes.

Why you would put yourself through this is beyond me though.

Cyclelover · 18/01/2020 22:03

I thought filters were supposed to take years off but they've done the opposite in my case it seems Blush

For those who haven't read the entire thread I'm 42! Though was told today that I look mid sixties Confused

@Debtfreewannab, you look young! I’m just really good at telling people’s ages. It’s all about the changes in facial structure, and less about having/not having wrinkles.

Sorry if it offends you, but I think you are in your 70s, as am I.

DownstairsMixUp · 18/01/2020 22:05

I was going to say 53. I'm 32 and I thought you looked my mums age (who is 53) but fags are terrible for aging.

MustangsDraggedMeAway · 18/01/2020 22:07

I would say 65 for a none smoker and 50 for a very heavy smoker.

ihearyoutoo · 18/01/2020 22:09

Wow some replies on here after op has said her age are awful..especially @TigerOnATrain

doobiev · 18/01/2020 22:10

Agree with @stopgap. Facial structure changes because the bones physically lose volume.

DickDewy · 18/01/2020 22:10

60-65

Jellybeansincognito · 18/01/2020 22:11

Op it’s your make up that’s ageing your face.
Bottom lash eyeliner really does add years to your face.

Try just applying a nice bottom lash mascara to your under eye area.

FernBritanica · 18/01/2020 22:11

I suspect a considerable number of posters are adding a few years out of spite because the original filtered photo was a bit "non u" (or however you want to describe it).

42 and a slim smoker who has spent a lot of time tanning seems about right to me.

DickDewy · 18/01/2020 22:12

Sorry, sorry - I didn't see that there are 4 pages. I only looked at the first and didn't see the update.

JinglingHellsBells · 18/01/2020 22:13

@RumbleDoll So, spill the beans!

I'd say 65- 70 as you have lost a lot of volume in your lips and your chin/ jawline.

Meaning this kindly but your heavy drawn on eyebrows don't work with the lower part of your face. You'd look much better with something more natural.

JaceLancs · 18/01/2020 22:13

55+ who has not weathered well

SecretWitch · 18/01/2020 22:13

I would guess 55?
