What so I can get myself into a vicious circle of DD staring at it awake for hours, not sleeping, then every time it times out cries until it’s back ok?

Another Ewan fan here! We also brought into the Ewan comforters too ... DD loves him! I am always in a permanent state of worry that we have lost him though as he has to come everywhere!

I then started to run out of money to keep replacing batteries so I got a plug in white noise machine from amazon.

I don't get why people rave about Ewan the twat sheep. It's rubbish!

Get the SleepySounds app, then you can have the white noise on all night long! Also, Ewan was far too quiet for DD2 when she was little, she needed the white noise to drown out all other sounds.

Brahm’s lullaby played on a harp. Put it on a loop. Cost 99 pence on iTunes. Been falling asleep to it for years and not as annoying as white noise.

Ewan doesnt work like a magic solution but he works to set the mood. I put ewan on and dd knows it sleep time. Shes three. Hes a tool. Tbh the music on you tube 1000s times better but if no wifi ewan can work in setting the mood

Olly owl is so much nicer. I always thought Ewan looked really scary like an evil sheep!

Myhummy is the way to go. We had a Ewan as the price of a Myhummy put me off, until I was having to get up every half an hour to turn the bloody sheep back on. Best £60 ever spent!

We have mixed feelings about Ewan, he's saved our sanity a few times and I quite like to give him a cuddle to sleep. 20 minutes is not long enough and he needs to be remote controlled!

I think I actually have PTSD from Ewan. I had to throw him away coz even the mere sight of him made me feel anxious. Let alone any of those awful noises. It’s like, I know, how about I lie awake all night waiting for the 20 minutes to be up so I can fumble around for a foot to press.

I tried a baby sleep aid when we moved DD from her Moses basket to her cot. I’m too addicted to my phone to leave it in her room playing white noise

I couldn’t afford an Ewan but I did get an Ollie the Owl. It seems to work but it might not as I’ve not put her to bed at night without it

I know when DD wants to wake up in the morning as she changes the music on it.

My DS is 3 in 2 weeks and still needs Ewan 🙈 but if he wakes up he puts it on himself so that’s good

I always buy Ewan’s as gifts when people have babies. But I always get the one that starts itself if the baby wakes.

I'm a bit spartan, scrap all the gimmicks and just sleep train. Plonk then in the cot and let them get on with it. It's just an expensive sleep cue.

We had a Cloud B Sleep Sheep. Obviously different things work for different children but this did the job for us. It has a 45 minute setting and is fully washable as the battery pack can be removed. And it’s cheaper than Ewan.

Get a Google home or alexa- 12 hours of white noise straight and the battery doesn't run out! Life changing. I never loved Ewan- 20 mins is not enough.

Or YouTube white noise, there are thousands of hours long ones. Raindrops, wind, soothing waterfall, weather in a forest, Tibetan farm etc
