I don’t do resolutions but I like to set goals, mine are to get strong and to live better, not just eating healthy but to not put up with crap from people too. What about you?

Last year my resolutions were:
Stop giving so much of my money to Pret A Manger
Take time off from work to write a book

I managed the first (with a couple of slips) but instead of the second I accidentally got promoted, whoops 🙄

This year my resolutions are to stop giving so much of my money to Leon (Grin) and to move to Chicago. Let’s see how it goes, shall we!

2kids2jobs · 31/12/2019 19:27

To distance myself from toxic colleagues and 'friends'

drinkingwineoutofamug · 31/12/2019 19:39

After loosing my nana over Xmas 😢 I resolve to tell my family and friends I love them more.
After loosing 3.5st to wear dresses.
To qualify with at least a merit in October 😬

I'm probably going to get sneered at for being woke or virtue signalling or whatever, but my main one is to be kind. To myself and others. And to do a sponsored walk to raise money for the residential home where my disabled cousin is.

ElloBrian · 31/12/2019 19:54

I agree Phil, it is very important to actively try to be kind in this day and age Flowers

Toomuchgoingon · 31/12/2019 19:55

To be lighter in lbs but heavier in £££££

RibenaMonsoon · 31/12/2019 19:56

To lose 1 stone of baby weight after having DD six months ago.
Pass my driving test.

vampirethriller · 31/12/2019 20:04

Lose 3 stone (lost 4 this year)

GlummyMcGlummerson · 31/12/2019 20:06

I'm going vegan. Or at least doing Veganuary.

More exercise.

More outdoor pursuits with the kids - we are very much an indoor family and this is 100% down to my reluctance to get wet and cold! But I'm sucking it up so they can enjoy nature more

PooWillyBumBum · 31/12/2019 20:09

Read 24 books (I give birth in February so if I can keep up with my two book clubs, who meet monthly, I'll be delighted!)
Reach 50% LTV on our home
Increase our net worth by £50k (obviously depends on the markets, has been a good year for us this year)

Then I'm also trying to think of something fun - certain number of date nights out etc. We live 20 mins from central London and never go in anymore, and are potentially moving to Belfast next year. I want us to leave the house more!

CroissantsAtDawn · 31/12/2019 20:16

Swim 120km (this year I aimed for 100 and did 111.2).

It's not the energy or motivation missing, it's severe lack of time. That and getting ill a lot meaning I have to miss some weeks.

I also want to find a solution to my 8 year olds horrendous behaviour around homework. It makes every evening a very long battle and Im sick of it.

lastqueenofscotland · 31/12/2019 20:25

big marathon and 5k pbs
Read 50 books
Run 2000 miles
Start a masters

Lllot5 · 31/12/2019 20:28

Keep on buggering on.

Elenorrigbywoes · 31/12/2019 20:38

To lose 5lbs and to join a fitness class to tone up.
To have a clutter free house!

Ponoka7 · 31/12/2019 20:38

Carry on my weight loss.

Exercise more, both cardio and weights.

Get under eye fillers, I'm scared but really want them. I'll probably get fibroblasting done as well.

Visit some new places. Since I put on weight I stopped doing things.

Teach myself to wallpaper.

Learn to say no, so I have more time for myself and my house.

nokidshere · 31/12/2019 20:40

To get a piano

inthethickofit19 · 31/12/2019 20:41

Take up a hobby

Have a soak in the bath more often

Learn contour make up

Get stronger and fitter

Get back into reading

Danni12 · 31/12/2019 20:41

I just really want to allow myself to be happy, to accept the choices that I made and to embrace my new life without conditions, without regret

Craftycorvid · 31/12/2019 20:46

To keep buggering on! Will second that.

Otherwise - To let go of a job in order to make way for the work I really want to be doing. It means economising - see resolution number 2

Quit the shopping addiction.

PortiaCastis · 31/12/2019 20:50

I'm getting married again at Easter I didn't ever think I could be this happy
I'm going to stay very happy that's it!

ElbasAbsentPenis · 31/12/2019 20:56

To start another MA course
To stop buying endless shit on the internet
To eat more green vegetables
To get all my moles examined by a doctor (have been putting this off for years)

Babynumber2dueNov · 31/12/2019 20:56

To loose some baby weight
Learn to prioritise myself (1 night off/long bath a week)
Spend more time outside with DC
Make our house more of a home (photos up etc)
Survive STAT MAT pay just as overdraft fees are raised to 39.9% 😭

Inhismemory · 31/12/2019 20:57

To try and move on from my dads death

SapphireSamphire · 31/12/2019 20:58

I want to be the best version of myself that I can be. To consciously take time to decide how to react to situations and not jump straight in. To be the best role model I can be to my kids. To not be like my mother. To break the cycle.
