Anyone else's DH a lazy fucker or just mine?

About to lose it with mine Angry

Can't understand the logic behind his actions. Example, he just had a slice of toast, washed his own plate and left the rest of the pots in the sink. There wasn't much to wash, just a side plate and a couple of knives and forks. They were mine from about an hour ago. usually I wash my own dishes after eating straight away, but on this occasion I'd left them because DC was playing up at bedtime so I went up to him.

AIBU to think this is annoying, lazy & selfish!?

I think a lot of wives make excuses for their DHs, how come so many men are incapable of seeing mess? Well they don't need to see it if someone else always tidies up for them.

My NYs resolution is to self ID as a man so Im looking forward to not seeing mess, clearing up after the kids etc.

YANBU op. I agree with the sentiment of @Rainyrain expressed so well above.
My DH is the same. Cardboard insert from loo roll left out on the cistern on the rare occasion that he changes it.
Will put the plates in the dishwasher while I put DC in the bath and bed, but wash the pan, wipe the surfaces and highchair, put the remains in the freezer? Nope. That's for me when I've done bedtime while he's on his console 🙄
He bathed DC last night - a pretty rare event.
He will also do the thing of moving stuff on the bed i.e. clothes that need putting away onto my side or onto the floor.
Rarely makes himself a sandwich for lunch, preferring to stop at the co op to buy one if for any reason I don't make the lunches.
Laziness is precisely the reason. I can't be arsed with the battle tbh. It just makes me resentful.
