Having a quick think between properties and savings we are at about 650k ...55k is cash savings, another 50k is shares and investments

Well then, I'm worth a damn sight less than the OP as I live in an area where houses are dead cheap. But I outweigh the OP in terms of class and humbleness.

I’ve never given it a thought. I guess unless you’re loaded it’s not the sort of thing you think or talk about.

Why would you think that a post like this is going to garner anything other than hatred or jealousy?
You’ve been really mean and I think that you need to really think about how the majority of people are coping this Christmas.
Most people have next to no assets or share portfolios.

It's ok, my net worth has increased- I have ten bags for life and now the price has increased to 30p I am worth more. Oh happy days. I'll call them my pension.

Well over a million which is why i give to the local food bank and support other charities with regular donations. I'm also well aware there are people half a mile away in abject poverty exacerbated by having a tory government who believe the welfare of the people in this country is irrelevant and child poverty unimportant. Wow, who actually is interested! Everyone's net worth is different. And those how have more tend to kept it quiet, it's a thing called class which you can't buy! Someone will always have more but we all breath the same air and expel the same properties!! My net worth is vast...I have lots of love, food on the table and some of my health still. Money means nothing without all of that! Merry Christmas to you all!

We are in the top 1% but have worked hard to get here. As a black woman in the City, I have faced particular challenges. However family, community, faith and friends are far more valuable to me than money.

We do this every month to keep tabs on spending, financial/retirement planning etc. It’s a useful exercise for financial geeks like us. But I wouldn’t give out figures on a forum!

It’s pretty irrelevant anyway surely as say £1m in assets isn’t that much to an older person in London who owns a house, whereas it would seem a fortune to a 21 year old in the north?

Well our debt will wipe out the £43 in the current account that has to last until jan 1st so......really nothing.

I’m worth a few quid dead though.

I swallowed a pound coin age 7. Safe to say I'm made of money.

DH and I have a roof over our heads, we have work, we have a 3yo who is the light of our life, we have my Mum, step dad, brother, SIL, nephew, niece, MIL and BIL plus lots of other friends and family. We have fond memories of my dad who died 3 weeks ago.
I'd say we're pretty damn wealthy.

We have £436 in our isa for our holiday next year. Hubby has a tool box rammed with expensive snap on tools, a cupboard full of shitty (expensive) warhammer and I have tools for my forest school business.
Other than that we have nowt
