Month 15 ttc and line eyes are bad

Hi. Have already posted on my other thread but I don’t know how it works on here and if it will be a dead thread by now? Anyway I’m month 15 ttc now and have major line eyes. Please can someone help me out and tell me to quit being daft. I’m way too hopeful and it’s just becoming a crushing disappointment month after month.

I can see a v v v feint line too. Fingers crossed for you. Is it a FRER?

Thehop · 18/12/2019 07:03

Please try a frer in the morning. Could be a squinted there.

Crossing everything for you.

Decidewhattobeandgobeit · 18/12/2019 07:09

I see a faint second line

forumdonkey · 18/12/2019 07:12

Sorry I can't see one but you're not late yet are you? Maybe you'll get a clearer result in a few more days. Fingers crossed for you.

PianoTuner567 · 18/12/2019 07:16

Best thing i did was stop using pregnancy tests until i felt symptoms.

Really good advice. But I know it’s easier said than done.

londonrach · 18/12/2019 07:35

Sorry cant see a line but could be too early. Retest tomorrow. After ten years the month i fall pregnant was the month i didnt test and dh and i had given up trying as we were moving. If you can i test one week after your period should have been so in end of nov beg of jan and good luck x

Confrontayshunme · 18/12/2019 07:41

I don't see a line. Really sorry but I think skipping the test would be best for a bit. These threads are so mean. Don't expect that everyone is kindhearted and telling the truth.

PooWillyBumBum · 18/12/2019 07:43

I don’t see a line even in the reversed image, and I have a huge desktop screen!

TheDarkPassenger · 18/12/2019 07:45

I can see an extremely faint line but I’m not sure If I’m just looking for it for you and want it to be there :(

I can’t see anything on the inverse one.

I wouldn’t class this as a positive test but keep going, try in a few days and perhaps see your gp even just for support?

I’m sorry

Ginfordinner · 18/12/2019 07:47

I don't see a line either. Sorry.

NoSauce · 18/12/2019 07:48

I can see a very faint second line when I zoomed in. Fingers crossed for you OP.

WhoTheFuckIsGail · 18/12/2019 08:35

I can't see anything and I can usually spot the squinters. First response are good.

sparkle2020 · 18/12/2019 09:07

Oh :( I just want this so bad it hurts to think it’ll be another month of negatives. I tried the whole don’t test before symptoms thing and it never worked because I’d imagine symptoms haha. Will pick up a frer on Friday as that should give it time right?

OP posts:
Countryescape · 18/12/2019 09:13

Definitely a 2nd line but very faint. Test again tomorrow. Good luck!

PiggyInTheMiddle19 · 18/12/2019 09:18

A frer would show today if u have a faint one now. I think I can see a 2nd line.

Changinforaflamin · 18/12/2019 09:20

Ugh I do see something but it’s so faint you have to squint. I wouldn’t take it as a reliable result.

I’d say wait a few days. Get a FRER (if you haven’t already) and retest.

SomewhereInbetween1 · 18/12/2019 09:20

Please unless you are 100% sure beyond a shadow of a doubt don't say that you too, can see the second line. Giving the OP false hope, even with the best of intentions, isn't kind. Conception can be a long and painful journey and if this time you're still unsuccessful OP, you have my best wishes that you fall pregnant soon x

Ginfordinner · 18/12/2019 09:24

I agree SomewhereInbetween1
There really isn't a line to be seen. I hope I am wrong though.

Have you had any investigations OP?

SquareAsABlock · 18/12/2019 09:25

Please unless you are 100% sure beyond a shadow of a doubt don't say that you too, can see the second line. Giving the OP false hope, even with the best of intentions, isn't kind.

Highlighting this as it's so bloody on the mark. Those who say they can see a second line are being extremely unfair to the op.

@sparkle2020, I'm afraid I really can't see a line either, it may just be a case of testing too soon. I hope you get the result you want very soon though.

Instatwat · 18/12/2019 09:44

No, sorry, I can’t see a line either (and I’m usually saying the opposite on these threads). I hope I’m wrong though OPZ

cosima1 · 18/12/2019 09:52

Op, it took us over a year to conceive DC1. I was underweight at the time which I think didn’t help, but I think it was the stress of over-focusing on the whole thing. I know it’s easier said than done, I really do. In fact, it was the month that we moved house and I’d just been too busy to think about it that it happened. We went on to have four with no issues at all. I have a friend who, by her own admission, likes everything to go exactly to plan. It took her three long years to conceive her first, with no medical reasons why this should have been. She went on to have two more without any “trying” at all. I don’t know how old you are, but I think 15 months is fairly average for a woman in her late 20s / early 30s.
I remember going to have an ultrasound scan which showed I was ovulating normally etc. Maybe do something like this if you haven’t already - it may help reassure you? But if there’s anything you can do to take your mind off it, I’d say this is the best plan. I know this sounds like a contradiction and I don’t know why it would make a difference, but I’ve seen this so many times.
I do wish you the best of luck. If not now..... soon.

sparkle2020 · 18/12/2019 09:58

Thank you everyone! Luckily have my family up visiting for the next couple of days so will use that as a distraction and try not to think about it for the next couple of days. Wishful thinking is such a painful thing!! To everyone who thinks they see a line, thank you for making me feel less crazy 😂

OP posts:
Ohhhthepain · 18/12/2019 09:59

I can see a very faint line, it’s clearer at the top of the line where you can see the edge more.

Fingers crossed for you op.

Changinforaflamin · 18/12/2019 10:01

Have you had any investigations?

I was told that If nothings happened after a year of TTC to see your GP if there’s any underlying reasons.

WorraLiberty · 18/12/2019 10:05

I can't see a line and to be honest, I can't see this thread doing you any good OP.

All you're going to get is people saying they can or can't see one but you'll still be none the wiser, just full of possible false hope.

Step away from the thread OP and good luck. I hope you get the result you're hoping for Thanks
