To ask you to join the Labour Party?

We really need a strong opposition. Personally, I really really don't a Corbyn clone or McDonnell lite. I would love there to be a political party I want to vote for. Instead of a 'least worst option'.

I will be joining and reading up on possible candidates. Then hoping my vote might count for something. Anyone else?

I was just using them to demonstrate that actually, small parties don’t have to be small parties because of FPTP, it’s still ultimately about people voting for them, but if people continue going, meh, it’s a 2 party system... then it is...

DH and I have been members for years. We’ll be voting for Emily Thornberry.

The rules, it is being reported on Twitter, allow members to vote if they join within two weeks of the election timetable being agreed so there is still time

If this is true then I'm very interested in joining. 'Anyone but the Tories' in my area of London. Especially after their divisive smear campaign against Sadik Khan during the last mayoral election.
