Come on, get out of the scraggy, grey sweat-stained t-shirt and grab yourself some new mummy glamour.

All the better to hold the post-natal bleeding

All the women look so composed and glam. Astonishing. Fair play to them
I was a sweaty medicated mess on a drip with a catheter. Forgot my lipgloss

FrogFairy · 14/12/2019 23:42

Reminds me of these lovely washing machine covers.

I can't even see the baby in half those photos! C R I N G E.

MitziK · 14/12/2019 23:57

It's reasonably accurate - with the exception of the 4th one, their hair looks like it's just been humanely slaughtered and they're obviously still in the post-Pethedine haze. And the first's cup of tea is obviously stone cold.

RJnomore1 · 15/12/2019 00:02

Another reason to have number three! Hurrah!

Pannalash · 15/12/2019 00:03

Fuck. My. Eyes.

the furry ones dont seem hygienic and i'm pretty sure it would be hard to get blood out of them.

eaglejulesk · 15/12/2019 00:08

OMG !!!! I am beyond words (although tacky does spring to mind)

MissBattleaxe · 15/12/2019 00:11

It reminds me of that quote in AbFab where Patsy says " What's the point in having children if they won't come to your launches?."

JellyfishAndShells · 15/12/2019 00:30

The baby in the blue photo appears to be wearing a Toque on their head, as favoured by Queen Mary at the beginning of the last century,

You can almost hear the crackles and see the sparks set off by the man made fibres.

Utterly weird.

GoGoLego · 15/12/2019 00:37

Having a baby means you have extra stuff / an expensive time as it is. Let alone with that as well. It's beyond tacky but its fabulous

OopsieDaisyB · 15/12/2019 00:46

That would have looked gorgeous after my csection when I was off my face on morphine lying in a pool of my own blood... actually think I would rather that than these weird thingsConfused

Emeraldshamrock · 15/12/2019 01:08

I imagine these will sell well within the travelling community.
Not my style personally, I am to old and to grumpy.

anon2000000000 · 15/12/2019 01:12

The blanket the baby is on in the first picture looks so comfy. I would love one for myself.

1forAll74 · 15/12/2019 01:30

I don't think that even Meghan would have gone into all that silly palaver rubbish.

Honeybee85 · 15/12/2019 01:35

Everything looks like the label says : ‘ keep away from fire ‘ and ‘made in China’.

Very ‘instagram worthy’ with all the bright colors but classy? Nahh.

Fatted · 15/12/2019 01:40

Why did the purple one remind me of prince in the 80s?!

CheshireChat · 15/12/2019 01:43

They look like the sets you get in dollhouses Grin, though I've seen less garish ones even in them.

Oh well, they're relatively harmless so if it makes them happy... Though co sleeping is out of the question hopefully

QuiteForgetful · 15/12/2019 02:17

Most mothersare not wearing scraggy, grey, sweat stained clothing, especially in the hospital. Most do purchase a new nightgown to wear anyways. I'd die of embarrassment to be in that tacky cheap looking crap, or to have all those dust collectors around my baby!

ReanimatedSGB · 16/12/2019 19:30

I'm almost sorry that there was no Instagram or even Facebook when DS was born. Because my mum took this lovely photo of DS when he was about three seconds old - he looks like a skinned rabbit in a puddle of blood. I had to remove it from the pack of developed photos before I handed them round...
