Takeaway driver gave ripped £5.00 note

Am I being unreasonable takeaway driver gave ripped £5.00. When I said to change it he's walked away. I've contacted the takeaway and asked them to change it. But seriously think they knew about the money and tried to get rid off it. Am I getting angry about nothing

Not true that plastic ones don't rip! Have you never seen ripped plastic packaging? Likewise not true that they are fake and the bank will seize them - I run a small business and the bank takes my ripped fivers off me even when they're in two pieces, and credits them to my account!

Seriously? Just sellotape it - it's not rocket science is it.
