Is MN really a Tory echo chamber?

I’ve been following the copious political threads over the past month or so. Yesterday and today there’s a lot of pro Tory sentiment... is everyone here really rich enough to benefit from voting for them?

(Not goady - generally curious)

Viccat I would love to know how you explain me then ? I'm educated (Law degree and several diplomas afterwards and working on a second degree) without any money , brought up in a middle class liberal union home. Limited money as I was the last year to have tuition fees paid for but very much educated family. Partly because my father worked two jobs to complete his degree as an adult.

No racism or xenophobia, in fact grew up in other countries for some of my formative years because the work wasn't in the UK for my father, and a complete recognition that my industry would shut tommorrow practically if solely indigenous recruiting began.

Middle class is defined by a variety of factors so that's not a definite marker. If you go by sociological agreed models terms I classify as middle class excluding one marker. However I fulfil enough criteria to be classified as such.

Whilst we were a union family and previously labour , this was because my grandfather sat on the national committee for the TGWU back in the day and heavily promoted the support of using non English workers (which then was much less likely )

My parents live in the suburbs and I live by the sea.
My partner and I and most of those we know voted remain.

I voted Tory.

You might wish to revisit your generalisations.

Very much the opposite, MN is very left-leaning. The apparent result proves how much of an echo chamber it is.

I’m genuinely puzzled by how you could draw your conclusion, the evidence points in entirely the opposite direction.
