Can anyone decipher this handwriting for me?

We moved house just under a year ago. We are on nodding terms with the next door neighbours, but have never exchanged names. Now they've sent us a Christmas card with the names on, which should be great, as I won't have to ask them, except I can't read the handwriting! Any ideas? I've cut off the man's name as I can read that, and I can see the last one is Emily, but the other three are a mystery. If it helps, the children are girl, boy, girl.

Can anyone decipher this handwriting for me?

Just seen the dot above the name! Not Reece!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 10/12/2019 21:35

I’ve got a feeling Amiee might be an anglicised version of the french spelling Aimée. Pretty sure the french pronunciation would be too different for it to it really work as a spelling variation and google seems to think it’s most commonly used in the U.K. and US.

GettingTooOldForThis · 10/12/2019 21:39

Is it Pria

Brunts12 · 10/12/2019 21:41

Draic, Amiee, Liam and Emily Xmas Smile

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 10/12/2019 21:42

Not a name It's French for Amy and most certainly is a recognised name!

Thought that was Aimée ?

Regardless. She's written Aimee

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 10/12/2019 21:43

And Ive never seen it spelled that way before, I consider myself told Grin

(still says Aimee)

yellowellies · 10/12/2019 21:44

Demi? Then agree Amiee Liam Emily

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 10/12/2019 21:44

"Wowfudge Oops! My bad! I misread that and thought the PP was saying Aimee wasn't a real name"

Hahaha

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 10/12/2019 21:53

I don’t think the dot is helping. I’m switching between seeing it as Aimee and Amiee.

Then again if that’s ‘Aimee’ she’s joined the ‘i’ weirdly. It’s completely different to the way she’s joined the ‘i’ in Liam.

iMatter · 10/12/2019 21:57

Diane is the first name. I'm sure of it.

Butteredtoast55 · 10/12/2019 21:58

I know someone with a daughter whose name is spelt Amiee so I think it's Amiee, Liam and Emily but not sure about the first name.... Diane?

MilkLady02 · 10/12/2019 21:59

I’d love op to come back and say she’s spoken to them and they are indeed called Steve and Drecci.

LucyFox · 10/12/2019 22:01

“To all at number 12”
Much easier!

Bootstraps · 10/12/2019 22:02

If it’s Aimee then the dot of her i is really out of whack. You can see a faint join line from thr A to the 2nd letter, which I think is an m.

Bootstraps · 10/12/2019 22:04

All those telling the OP to just address her card to the number of the house are spoilsports. The pleasure/pain is in guessing the names.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 10/12/2019 22:05

Look where the dot is on Liam though. It definitely could be that far out of whack.

LoseLooseLucy · 10/12/2019 22:09

... And the sit for Diane 🤔

LoseLooseLucy · 10/12/2019 22:09

Dot, not sit 🙄

bananahood · 10/12/2019 22:10

Dzeiec, Ainill, Lieom and Eriily. Obviously.
I actually think the second one is Aria not Aimee, if that is Liam the a looks like the ee at the end of the second name which makes me think Aria.

Bootstraps · 10/12/2019 22:16

@RafaIsTheKingOfClay I was ignoring the Liam Wink

The name after Steve is definitely not Diane though, I’m sure of it.

Cal72 · 10/12/2019 22:23

I bet Diane wrote the card. Hence her own name is the most scribbled - turning the n into a lazy semi u effect that rolls into the e - it’s just a rushed up/down pen stroke. Very similar to the m in Aimee. Throughout, in all the names where letters are also in her name (or close like n / m) she does the same, but otherwise writes those names clearly. She’s just used to scribbling Diane a lot.

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 10/12/2019 22:26

I don't think Liam and Aria really go together as sibling names. Liam is obviously named after Gallagher, parents probably met whilst drunk dancing to Oasis. I said maybeeeeeee..Gin

Aimee doesn't go with Liam either. She should have a brother called Jonathan or James. Liam and AMY is more fitting but it's obviously not that.

Emily is obviously the favourite. Look how carefully her name has been written. I feel sorry for Liam and the other one. They're probably being pushed out of the nest as we speak. Liam's box room will be mums craft room (god help those that get her sloppy Christmas offerings) and the other one's room will get the clothes airers.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE Xmas Confused

SheSaidHummingbird · 10/12/2019 22:37

Love Drew, Aimee, Liam and Emily

kleew1 · 10/12/2019 22:41

Heidi for the first name?

ScrambledSmegs · 10/12/2019 22:41

I thought it was Nell/Nelli. I've stared at it for so long now that my eyes have gone funny.

Oh and I thought it was Ariel not Aimee but if you're in the Uk then it's not likely as everyone will think of the washing powder.
