I think it was a dick move to put the winner in the title too. It was on late last night and I'd at least give people until lunchtime to catch up.

Oh my days ... a 'spoiler' is giving details of something that is yet to be aired like Sharon killing Phil on Christmas Day. It's all over TV and the internet who won ffs - go and sit in a cave if it bothers you that much.

I'm not going to censor what I talk about in case someone hasn't watched it yet. Where would that end? It's the election on Thursday, can we not discuss the result in case someone hasn't 'caught up' yet?

Creating a thread about it is fine. But surely common courtesy is not to put the winner in the actual title. Not everyone can watch live.

I think Kate should have won. I didn't particularly like her going in, but I warmed to her. She seems lovely and very brave.

I preferred Andy, don't normally watch but got sucked in this year.

I wanted Kate to win too and was surprised she wasn’t at least in the top three

Also as has been carefully pointed out, a spoiler is something that hasn’t been aired- there are photos of her with the flowery crown all over the internet- it will be on the radio.. those who claim they were going to be surprised by the result at lunchtime or tonight-really?

I am going out next Saturday and will watch the recording of the Strictly final when I get back- No radio on and will not touch iPad or phone whilst watching it- that’s the only way to not find out.

I made the conscious decision to go online last night, not having seen the final show, knowing it was highly likely the result would pop up somewhere. I decided I would still watch it (on Fast Forward) regardless.
That said, it should haven't been too hard to phrase your thread title in such a way that doesn't make it quite so obvious who won.

Nishky I went to check my emails this morning and she was allover yahoo in her crown........I didn't watch the final either and couldn't give a rats ass that I already know. Makes no difference to the result does it ? 🤔

When I was proper into the soaps and I'd missed a big "reveal" episode I'd have to literally stay off the internet afterwards otherwise it'd be on every other website. I wanted to watch it and kind of pretend it was the "live" one, then go online to see what everyone thought Grin...

People waiting until tonight to watch this without knowing... won't people be talking about it at work etc?

Whilst it would have (obviously) been better not to put the winner in the thread title, if I hadn't seen it yet I'd be staying off the internet tbh until I had (bitter experience with a GoT episode).

I wanted Roman to win out of the final 3, and Andy from the final 2.

I think I'd rather Kate had won but I think out of the last four Jocelyn Jakka (as my DH calls her) will have gained the most from winning. I hope it makes her realise she is strong enough to no longer need Dan Osborne and can stop putting up with the serial cheating and finally LTB. I cringed when she was talking about him in her exit interview. I mean it's bad enough if you're last to know in a group of friends, but when it's millions.

I just saw Kate and Andy interviewed on GMB and they were asked "how Jacqueline was adjusting" to coming out of the jungle. (she's not doing interviews, for obvious reasons). Their expressions and the long pause before Kate turned to Andy to answer spoke volumes. I think that the bastard Piers would have made more of it had Kate not been one of their own. To Kate & Andy's credit, they skirted the issue of poor Jacqueline presumably dealing with her dh's stuff
