WIBU to remove his pyjama pockets?

For context, been married nearly 25 years Dh is not going to change his ways. I have DD1 recently out of hospital and still ill. Dd2 learning disability and bi-polar challenging to say the least. And we are day 4 into having a new puppy. I am knackered.

I put a large load in the washing machine, all darks including the awkward low temperature concert tee shirts with printed images. Checked the pockets for tissues as DH has form for leaving them in pockets. But I missed one. The wash is covered in white fluff. Re washed the whole lot and no better. Washing is hanging on the line in hope that fluff will blow off when dry.

Hate the machine we have now, had lots of problems. It has a new fangled honeycomb drum which is supposed to be kinder to clothes less bobbling but it also means tissue fluff can not drain away.

I am so fed up with the washing. WIBU to cut the pockets off DH pyjamas.

Need to buy a big lint brush to deal with this.

My partner is amazing with cars. He's so handy!!
BUT he seems incapable of using a washing machine. He's mid 30s and just shit at it. Chucks everything in on a hot wash. Or overloads a quick wash.
I think we both have things we're shit at and we stick to what we we're good at.
I never do the bins, for example.
Get some fucking scissors and chop away sister Glitterball

He's choosing to not do the washing properly, I don't believe there is any condition where someone who can fix a car can't think comprehend that different materials need different temperatures. If someone can provide scientific evidence I'll admit I'm wrong but until then manchildren are taking the pics.

Empties his pockets onto any shelf, window ledge work top is nearest. Periodically its scooped up and put in pots. He refuses to take the money to the bank because they change a fee for changing small change into folding notes🙄

That's an easy one to solve - finders keepers. 😉 Get yourself a tin, collect the discarded money yourself and either spend it as is or take it to the bank yourself, pocket the notes and treat yourself. I'm sure the small fee is no skin off your nose. 🤣
