To think you know when your family is complete?

I had my second baby 5 months ago. My children are my world.
The first pregnancy I had was basically a life threatening one.. sepsis etc
Anyway the second one was amazing
When I met my husband I always said I wanted three children
Did you know when your family was complete or did you just sort of settle down

Thanks

I feel I want a child not a baby if that makes sense

We can see how I can entice the husband. Frilly knickers maybe and cooking good food for them all 🥴

I don't feel "done". DS2 is 9 months and I've enjoyed him so much, even though he's not been the easiest baby (not particularly challenging, just teethed early and is catching virus after virus from DS1!).

Had he been a DD I do wonder if I would feel more done, as I would love a daughter. But DS2 is so delightful and so I could never wish he had been a DD, if that makes sense. If I could guarantee that DC3 would be a healthy girl, then I would go for it in a heartbeat. Because I can't, our plan is to wait until DS2 is 2 and discuss it then - I may well feel done. I'm only 31 having had two DCs, so on the one hand I think gosh I've got loads of time. On the other hand I think won't it be wonderful to be younger than 50 and have two 18+ year old DS'.
