Blue cars... AIBU to wonder if I'm the only one noticing them?!

Blue cars everywhere.
I actually really like it, such a change from black n white

They are EVERY where here all of a sudden.

My friends and I were crooning over a few parked outside school this morning... So pretty.

We've got a dark blue metallic car. It looks lovely when it's clean and polished which isn't very often atm.

My car is blue, but ancient. Its called World Rally Blue and is really bright.

Good to see. I think black, white, and grey are boring and conformist. My car's light blue, but it's an 03 plate so nothing new.

There's loads of blue cars where I live. In Bristol all hackney cabs are blue.

My car is blue and it looks fabulous.....when its clean! Not much chance of that in Scotland just now, though. Well, not for long anyway.

When we were looking for a new car we only had a choice of black or white at one place, we went elsewhere and got a secondhand blue car.

I think the "trends" in cars also coincide with manufacturer's free colours. It was ice white/arctic white in our car park at work a few years ago. Blue is definitely popular at the moment.

Silver was boring but the paintwork always looked better

Buying secondhand, I can only get what other people wanted a year or so earlier, so am on my third car of more or less the same colour of car that seemed to be THE shade for that car model. Sadly I haven't had a sensible opportunity for a lively vibrant colour. At least I've never had yawnsome black though.

It's great that colours are coming back. Plus they're easier to see at this time of the year in the eternal gloom.

My car is turquoise. I think it is greeny blue. Everyone else thinks it is bluey green. It is easy to find in a car park as another poster said.

@AgeLikeWine the new bmw blue is "portimao blue". I thought I had ordered the blue you described for my new car, but when it arrived a few weeks ago it was the updated blue colour. Bit deeper and more purple than the old blue. I like it though!

Mine is chrome blue. The last one was black with a red sparkle which you could only see when it was sunny.

Our car is bright blue - chosen by my (then) 3 year old. I really like it, it’s a change from the grey cars we had before. It wasn’t cheaper though, think we did have to pay the standard metallic paint fee. But that was a couple of years ago now.
