And here. These guys are shameless.

theflushedzebra · 14/11/2019 23:44

It's not the thing we want to think about when we're trying on clothes at M&S, really Hmm

WrathofSIxFootSlxEIf · 14/11/2019 23:50

As the message spreads to the wider public as it surely will, what will M&S do next.

theflushedzebra · 14/11/2019 23:51

I'm betting MNHQ will either remove this thread, or me, or both from the site now. Because certain retailers don't want women to know this, when the introduce mixed sex or "gender neutral" changing.

I personally believe women should be aware.

PickAChew · 14/11/2019 23:56

Plot man's moobs are probably bigger than the B cup he chose. DH is 34C. He doesn't wear a bra, of course, but we measured for a laugh, once, when I was despairing of M&S treating anything bigger than a D cup as unusual.

YourOpinionIsNoted · 14/11/2019 23:56

How does this thread break talk guidelines? We are talking about men, who identify as men, not transwomen.

YourOpinionIsNoted · 14/11/2019 23:57

I'm off for a re-read if it might go zap. I need a laugh before bed and pigs in wankets might do the trick Grin

theflushedzebra · 15/11/2019 00:02

I don't think it does break guidelines, we're talking about men - who identify as male, and look male, trying on women's underwear in female spaces.

But it's very bad PR for one of MNs advertisers.

theflushedzebra · 15/11/2019 00:06

Anyone who wants to search for that man's twitter account - @jaxpantyguy - it's still there. He's in the US so I doubt he personally is in M&S - those photos were taken in Target, I believe.

But look at the many, many male reviews on M&S by males, identifying as male, on M&S Uk website. The're all there - just cheering on the fad for mixed sex changing rooms. They'll be getting very "comfortable" in the changing room they feel most "comfortable" in, very, very soon.

theflushedzebra · 15/11/2019 00:09

The fact that he posted directly to @JeanHatchet's post about M&S on twitter shows how shameless and exhibitionist those men that have this fetish are. Exhibitionism is all part of the fetish.

OhHolyNightWaking · 15/11/2019 00:13

It's all about the Colin Candy Canes over here. OMG.
Or Cola Colins when not
"the season".

I prefer the Piglets from the Percy line.

OhHolyNightWaking · 15/11/2019 00:19

I clearly did not RTFT before posting. It appears to have moved on... Shock

floraloctopus · 15/11/2019 03:00

Thank goodness we don't have an M&S. The occasional pack of 56p milk bottles (two in 12 months) is thankfully unlikely to be a massive boost to their profits.

floraloctopus · 15/11/2019 03:01

Do M&S make any money from the BP garage stores or is it just a name of convenience?

MamaWeasel · 15/11/2019 03:17

Colin candy canes you say..... I shall google forthwith!

Mummyoflittledragon · 15/11/2019 05:47

No more Pervy Pigs for me. I’m boycotting M&S.

Bluntness100 · 15/11/2019 06:16

M&s run the garage stores, effectively they rent the space from the forecourt owner, its no different from going into any other M&S.

Mrstwiddle · 15/11/2019 06:33

I love M&S, really hope they rethink this :(

ChickenNuggetsChipsAndBeans · 15/11/2019 06:53

It always amazes me how sweets from middle class shops are more socially acceptable. Percy pigs are full of sugar.

Percy pigs have 58 grams of sugar per 100 grams
Mars Bars have 59 grams per 100 grams, so an equivalent amount.
Haribo star mix has about 47 grams per 100 grams.

ChickenNuggetsChipsAndBeans · 15/11/2019 06:58

Sorry..I didn't RTFT. Pigs in Wanklets, that is a phrase that will stay with me today.

skidley · 15/11/2019 07:05

I started reading with the lighthearted reply that pervert pigs are vile. Chewy tastesless things. But wow, it took a different turn. Rather worrying as my neice has recently started a part time job in Mark's for over xmas. I hope to god she's not on changing room duty.

Piccalino3 · 15/11/2019 07:25

I am literally disgusted to see men reviewing women's lingerie. I thought it might be just the occasional review so went on the M&S website myself and lo and behold there were reviews from men on almost every single product that I looked at. Urgh.

No more M&S underwear for me which is sad because it's the only shop near me that has a wide selection of bras. I've been pregnant or breastfeeding for over 6 years so constantly changing shape which means I have to try things on.

This really is gross and thanks for enlightening me. Next we'll be seeing women's underwear cut different to accommodate all wearers. Make me livid.

As for Pervy Percy, I've always thought he was way overrated but will never see him in the same light again now!

MamaToTheBabyBears · 15/11/2019 07:54

Percy pigs are what I'll miss most. I like the sweets, but women's safety and rights are far more important. As a woman, it's particularly important not to support businesses suppressing you.

PurpleDaisies · 15/11/2019 07:56

It always amazes me how sweets from middle class shops are more socially acceptable. Percy pigs are full of sugar.

Do you expect that to be news to everyone? Confused Sweets are full of sugar.

TimeLady · 15/11/2019 08:01

You have to be an account holder to leave a review. M&S will have data on the number of male customers (as they are clearly asking if male or female) buying lingerie on-line and the old excuse of 'it's for the wife/girlfriend' is looking increasingly lame. If it's a sizeable market, then you start to see why they want to encourage them into the store. Cuts down admin costs of the inevitable returns if they can try items on in store instead, and explains the 'use the changing room you're comfortable in' as well.

No going back. A lone male browsing in the lingerie department is going to alert my creep radar from now on.
