Fact is, in M&S there are women attendants by the women's changing rooms - who up until now wouldn't let the men in.

Now they do. The men can now go in the changing room they fell most comfortable in.

We really do, as women, and as a society, push thoughts of these fetishy men away. A lot of us are married to good men, have good fathers, are mothers to sons. It's really grim to to think that some men are so fetishy and so predatory - that they are nodding along to the fashion for mixed sex spaces for their own nefarious ends.... and that they may end up in a changing room next to you, or your daughter, or your mother.
