That's It- I have had enough of bras!

After another uncomfortable day with an underwire poking me I've thrown it away and resorted to a comfy sleep bra for the day that gives me monoboob but I don't care. I'm a 38 E so need something soft and comfy. I'm perimenopausal and fed up of all the stupid uncomfortable things women have to wear.

Weekend shopping for soft comfortable bras ahead- any recommendations?

I honestly think that, any medical issues aside, if you're all finding bras uncomfortable you must all be wearing the wrong size. You shouldn't be able to feel them at all. I have nothing but underwired bras, and I don't know they're there.

Asda esp this one. So comfy plus it's got good reviews too. My boobs are bigger than yours too. It's quite high cupped. Very safe and supportive

For the last year I’ve had a problem re a sore feeling under my left arm, around where the top of the wire would be - although have virtually given up wires as they feel so horrendous now - any bra causes it though. It’s weird, feels like the skin should be visibly red and sore but it isn’t. And I went to be measured by specialist bra manufacturer. It didn’t help. Will definitely be investigating some of the links on here, thank you

I have purchased the Sainsburys comfort seamless crop tops and will report back- am intrigued by Molke too

I think the next few months will be me researching - I already feel more comfortable. To the PP who said get measured and you shouldn't feel a bra- I do have 2 really comfy bras that give a good shape and fit well- have tried buying duplicates and tried on a number of sizes and something just doesn't sit the same. I am sure I will find nice bras again that are also shapely etc but for now, I'm giving my boobs a rest from discomfort :)

Itsarainyday yes I find they are fine for everyday wear, especially in level 2 or 3. The fabric is quite sturdy, so probably would show through more sheer blouses.
