FFS. It's the start of Novermber and I have to bear Ms Carey with her plastic face warbling about what she wants for Christmas just as she has done since 1992. Her acting is atrocious. She has about one line and can't even deliver that convincingly, probably because her face won't move. The song is shite and who wants fucking brussels sprouts flavoured crisps anyway?

Also I don;t buy into the idea that just because something is done by a woman or features a woman the rest of us all have to support her no matter what.

What annoys me more than the advert itself is that's it's aired before we even get Bonfire night out of the way.The onslaught of ever earlier Xmas marketing spoils it for me.

I don't think she's had facial surgery. She's aging well IMO partly because she's filled out a bit.
I really like her. She's so over the top, I can't help but not like her!
She's been around a long time for the music industry and her accomplishments are nothing short of incredible in her career. I love the quirky fun fact that she's Patti Label's goddaughter. She's worked alongside the musical greats and earned their praise. For someone who's just a singer, who's seen many people come and go over the years which is no mean feat, she's earned a right to be batty! If Miss Piggy were a real person, Mariah Carey wouldn't be too far off from how I could imagine her to be.

I like that advert. It is funny and she is obviously taking the piss out of herself. I saw her in concert at the Royal Albert Hall and I am a total convert. She was amazing and really connected with the audience. I think she has bipolar which can explain her behaviour in the past.

I feel sorry for the guy as he doesn't get any crisps at all! Poor bloke.
I do love that song but I'm not a Christmas fan. Love most crisps but not the Christmas flavour ones. They must taste horrible!

I guess the shops are desperate for good Christmas sales this year hence the ads being on earlier than usual.
I think it'll be hard for a lot of the smaller businesses this year and nobody will spend much. Walkers must be doing ok though to pay her that much.. she'll have a good time if nobody else will!

@Labia I have a friend who sees lots of random shows, her BF gets tickets as part of his job. She said much the same. She wasn't expecting to enjoy it but MC was extremely personable and the show was a lot of fun.
