I actually thought it was her from the picture. I’ve always liked Keanu Reeves.

Is KR still dyeing his hair? Doesn't he look like his previous girlfriend?

It's not ageist at all, they look very similar, I thought it was Helen Mirren at first glance too.
Both this lady (don't know her name) and Helen Mirren are naturally pretty, and suit their age and their natural hair if you know what I mean (is that ageist lol)

It's only a story because she's not a blonde fetus. He was extraordinarily beautiful in his day, that's how we remember him, his new girlfriend is ordinary looking but seems to be highly accomplished, which in itself is attractive.

It's just two humans who like/love each other....like in real life, not Hollywood.

Have to agree with @misspiggy19 She DOES look older than 46. I would have placed her at around 53-54 years old.

And yeah, whether people like to admit it or not; it IS mostly down to her having grey hair.

I thought she was Helen Mirren too, as they have similar facial features and hair. (By the way I have seen Helen Mirren in real life and she is stunning). I never read comments under articles but I am very happy for Keanu, even though he should be with me!

I’ve seen posts saying how it’s good he’s dating someone ‘his own age’, he is not. This woman is eleven years younger than him, just not currently dyeing her hair, and people on the internet are losing their minds over a woman not conforming to their own personal expectations of women looking appealing to men at all times 😄

He deserves happiness doesn’t matter who he is in love with. The fact that he has chosen an old unattractive woman is why it’s made headlines. No matter how you dress it up she has grey hair and looks like a grandma. Don’t know why the media are trying to pretend. But at the end of the day he is happy and after everything he has been through he deserves to be. Plus he doesn’t care what people think clearly.

So refreshing to see a real man dating a real woman instead of the usual older man younger woman scenario, think he’s rare in the world of showbiz

Old and unattractive? Jesus. Some women really are absolutely vile to each other. She is 46 which is not particularly old and she is not unattractive.

I didn’t say she is old 46 is not old at all. I said she looks old. He doesn’t seem to care what people think and good on him. Her too, good on both of them I say. But it doesn’t change the facts which are that he is super hot and you wouldn’t expect him to be with her.

She has beautiful skin and hair, and a lovely figure. We only think she looks old because we're used to women faking their hair. Women are expected to dye their hair to 'look young' as society has brainwashed us that only that makes us valuable and old is ugly, unwanted, undesirable and therefore worthless. Sod it to that. I just wish my grey would come all the way through rather than this mixture; hers is beautiful.

Of course not, don't be daft. It's always been considered a bit 'off' for a man in his 50s to be dating someone who's 25 though. Don't be so disingenuous.

I could definitely see the resemblance to HM in the first pic, but as that was on my phone and her face in the photo was less than 1cm high, it was a very quick snapshot of someone elegant, with grey hair and good bone structure on the red carpet. Obviously when you zoom in (or put your glasses on ) you can clearly see that it isn't her and the other photos are much more flattering.

It's odd though, that young girls are now dying their hair grey and we're all trying to pretend like going grey gracefully is ok, and yet so many people are still so judgey about a naturally grey woman.

If I didn't dye my hair it would have been very grey since my early 20s and probably totally grey now in my mid 40s. I would love to think I'd look half as gorgeous as Alex in those photos!

Not so much the hair for me but the dress that makes her look older. In the daily mail pic where she is sitting down in leather pants and black jumper she looks much younger.

Not that it matters but she looks older than 46 and definitely looks older than him. She looks older than my Mother who is 40. It’s definitely the hair.

My Mother is 50, not 40.

I think both Alexandra Grant and Helen Mirren look amazing and it just shows that you can be graceful and elegant regardless of how old we are. Alex looks amazing and the Daily Mail link with a side by side picture of Helen and Alex clearly shows that although there is a resemblance, Alex is much younger than Helen. I think they both look amazing and I don’t think Alex looks old at all.

As someone currently growing out my grey (at 45) a thread like this is really depressing. A man in his 40s isn't automatically assumed to be 20+ years older because he has grey hair...

I think she looks lovely, and actually what age she looks shouldn't be the issue - youth isn't everything. We do seem to have hit the point as a society where attractiveness is measured on visible indicators of wealth and youthfulness rather than whether someone is actually attractive!
