To get the double buggy back out for my 7 and 3 yr olds

No size issue, they are usually petite, and not bothered by the buggy. They probably miss it if anything

My main fitness was walking, long distance and speedy rather than pottering around. It’s so hard with kids, they aren’t bad walkers for their age but can’t really stride fast enough or cover distance in a way that will make a proper dent on my fitness levels.

I’ve still got my double, I live in a hilly area. My husband works long hours and I just don’t have time otherwise. I’m thinking of each afternoon popping them in the buggy for a really brisk hilly 3-4 mile walk. With the double it’s not easy. I do other things, like cycle, but this is a super easy no prep way of actually sticking to something for fitness tat works.

I’m getting flabby, odd? If you saw me regularly would you think it was odd...? We do walk together, but as I said it’s just not going to keep me fit staying at their pace

Sorry, just name changing. I am one of those posters always changing-rather than build up a big online jigsaw of info over time. Some of the doxing on the feminism board made me nervous a while back.

I’m the OP if that’s confusing

Be careful with your knees, it’s no joke when they pack in! I’m still hoping mine will get better (apparently it’s actually a muscle issue with me right now, so they coukd/shoukd, but it’s been a year now!) and you don’t realise how much you kneel/bend them
To sit/climb on things/get in the floor and a million other daily things you do needing healthy/happy knees 😩

...not to mention the impact it has in your ability to exercise!

Glad to hear your 1st trip went well!

My 5 year old loves going in her sisters pushchair (I have a bob running pram).
Sometimes I go when she’s at school but on days like today when it’s like a furnace outside we go early before school and have a picnic breakfast or during school holidays.
We alternate scootering with riding in the pram.
How long she scooters for, is how many park playgrounds we can go to on the way home (mainly during school holidays)
15 min of scootering equals one playground.

When it’s just my almost 3 year old, she yells “Run Faster” at me, draws in a small notebook, looks at books or eats a billion snacks.

(If the weather is crap they wear wet weather gear and zoom down the slides post walk/run)
